To be very fed up with the weather

When's summer? I can't believe it's June tomorrow. AIBU to be fed up with it. I just want some warmth to enjoy before we're back to putting the heating on.

No, it’s a villa and we can’t cancel.

Plus a spa is my idea of hell and not something you could do with a 3 year old anyway!

It’s been a really hard few years, it’s DH’s 50th and it’s going to be shit. There won’t be another holiday abroad for another 4-5 years either. So disappointed. Didn’t want it hot but didn’t want it wet and miserable either.

Here in the East it’s been grey and cool. Last night was chilly and I’m afraid I pit the heating on. Grrrrrr

First rain in 2 weeks here this am, sw. Been lovely, 23 degrees and it's back sunny now but bit windy. Great sailing weather, shame I'm still not a yacht owner

It's been beautiful up north but is chilly and a bit cloudy today.

@AlltheFs where abouts? It's forecast 24 degrees and sunny where I've just been. Cloud often builds late pm and you get occasional evening showers, sunshine returns following day

I wouldn't worry about the weather forecast, I'm not long back from Aus and my weather forecast said rain every day all day...in reality it was sunny, averaged 23/24 and rained a couple of times overnight

I didn’t need my jumper in London. It was beautiful! Low 20s is perfect for me.

It's been beautiful in the south west all week. I'm in north Devon/Cornwall and I have swum in the sea a few times. I've been applying sunscreen but have still burned a bit.

I stayed in today because I needed a day out of the sun but went out this evening when it got cooler. I was wearing just a T shirt until gone 9pm.

August Bank Holiday. Sat under a blanket with a fleece on and apparently it's 13 degrees outside in the middle of the day. Not sure that mini heatwave in June before all the flooding has done enough to top the Vit D levels up this year!

It's been consistently in the 20s here for the last couple of weeks, is 22 right now and the next 10 days on my weather app are in the low 20s as well.

The first half of the holidays were very wet and dull but it's been very warm since. We've had the fans on in order to be able to cool enough to sleep. Not wretched or appalling here. It really does seem to depend upon where you are.

It seems to be hotter at night than during the daytime. I did wear shorts for a walk along the coast this morning, but now it’s clouded over and I’ve put my leggings on.
