Look at the speakers;

How can anybody who has studied any history whatsoever vote for this?

Are living in some kind of shit, TV movie about the fall of the UK?

Touched a nerve, Jonei?

Blancmangemouse · 17/05/2023 22:04

Nope, just find it interesting that’s all 😇

Says the person who just started ANOTHER thread because 1000 posts was not enough to explain how any of this stuff actually makes it out of a conference for swivel eyed loons and onto the statute books.

And who wasn't content with offering to send me a stupid book in the thread but actually started sending me messages about it too.

Sure

Better to have opposing views than just what you want to hear. I’ve appreciated their posts

Ah hello again, good to see you’ve been keeping busy here too 😁 Your employers will be pleased!

Posters with nothing to say but dodgy PMs and the like are a bit loop the loop

TooBigForMyBoots · 17/05/2023 22:14

MargotBamborough · 17/05/2023 21:16

There's a very simple solution to this though.

The other parties could admit that they do in fact know what a woman is and that we shouldn't be support humans for men with special identities. They could protect our single sex spaces and our sports.

They could, you know, focus on coming up with sensible policies that the public actually supports and get the Tories out, rather than "women can have penises and if you disagree you're a horrible bigoted dinosaur who needs to be re-educated".

There is a simpler one:
The government safeguard women's rights now.

There's nothing like a creepy stalker on MN to enhance the overall experience 👍

Yes it would be great if they could do that.

But parliament cannot bind future parliaments.

So I'd also like the party that will most likely be in power by the end of next year to commit to safeguarding women's rights.

It barely matters what the Tories do at this point, they're pretty much done.

I’d bet money that despite spending all day on Mumsnet they haven’t commented on any other threads. I admire the work ethic, but it must get boring.

So weird.

Why on earth would it bother you where else people post Confused

Very over involved

Well mnhq know it’s not sock puppeting hence the deletions - of your posts

Getting it yet?

MN don’t know it’s sock puppeting or social media disinformation campaigning because they can’t detect most sock puppeting or disinformation unless it’s obvious such as anti vax and even then they need a user to report it before they know it’s even there.

The volunteers who moderate it respond to reports and will review and remove posts which are blatantly discriminatory or are troll hunting as that’s quite obvious to make a decision on.

They don’t have the ability to detect all of the bad actors who operate on social media so rely on users to report as well you know.

Lonelycrab · 17/05/2023 22:24

But parliament cannot bind future parliaments

but what about the will of the people. Once that is clearly shown surely that can’t be ever mentioned again and we shall forever think only about the will of the people. No other voices should be heard.

And if someone disagrees with you just post hundreds of comments on a parenting forum.

SunnyEgg · 17/05/2023 22:25

MN don’t know it’s sock puppeting

yes they do. It’s why your posts and others were deleted

They know if it’s the same poster. Come on you need to do better than that.

Email mnhq and check. It’s really strange to keep going on this

They just can't believe that more than one person would disagree with them. 🤷‍♀️

Yes, the "will of the people".

Brexit is a very rare example of something that can't just be reversed by the next government.

Most things can be though.
