Thomas Cashman's Family

Godzillaisjusthangry · 01/04/2023 08:32

The daily fail have really gone after Thomas Cashman's partner in the paper today, painting her as a gangsters moll.

Do you think she really knew what he was up to? What's the feeling in Liverpool towards her?

AIBU to feel sorry for his kids and wonder what kind of life they will have now? his son and daughter are also victims in this horrible tragedy now. It's so sad.

Yes, let's all feel sorry for the woman who happily lived high on the hog from the proceeds of others' misery and protected a child killer while she was at it.

Not all women are victims. Some women are cunts. Maybe she's one?

I feel sorry for their children but that's about it.

Godzillaisjusthangry · 01/04/2023 09:03

Will she still be able to live in Liverpool after this? and her family?

I'm guessing from what you've said their life was supported by both families, who have long standing ties in the community.

From what I read, tensions are very high in the community around all of this. Lots of threatening behaviour. Lovely people.

I hope they take the house away from them, proceeds of crime and all that - apparently their house is worth half a million.

It was a rented property

torquewench · 01/04/2023 09:05

I can't get my head around how more than one woman was interested in him. The woman he was having (or had had) a fling with went to the police shortly after he turned up at her house to get changed straight after he'd shot Olivia. I wonder if Kayleanne knew about her?

She'll be supported, she'll be supported by the network firstly

Then she'll be supported by posters like above who see her as a victim that everyone needs to feel sorry for and not blame.

VeryApple · 01/04/2023 09:07

I assume the protection runs deep and wide for them and their network, layers upon layers of scum.

Kudos to her for speaking up now. Very risky for her, but the right thing.

Whenever a man does something shit they always go after a woman too. It implies it was her job to keep him in check and I've got not time for it.

You are having a laugh aren’t you? This woman knew exactly what she was doing and how she was being funded.

That's what I was thinking, there's no way she couldn't know. I was trying to be charitable and think well maybe because they got together so young the drug dealing was normalised from an early age, but do you think she knew about the violence as well?

I'm trying to wrap my head around thinking that was a sustainable lifestyle to bring kids into! I mean surely you'd be thinking this is a shit storm I can't bring kids into?

Lol come round to South London mate. It’s the norm to have kids with drug dealers whether they’re violent or not

PhilNW · 01/04/2023 09:08

Wonder who paid for his barrister, (Professor John Cooper, KC)? Proceeds of crime?

The state pays.

That's the thing isn't it. Cashman going down has only left a vacancy, as much as we'd like to hope any wider good will come of it.

ProtestantsHateAbba · 01/04/2023 09:13

Like others have said, of course she knew, all that lot of bastards knew. I have no sympathy for her or his family whatsoever. Apart from his children. They’ve lost out on their dad, and their way of life will change through no fault of their own. Yes, their dad is a murderer, a waste of oxygen and an all round stain on society, but he’s still their dad.

But the rest of that lot, along with that Nee bloke can get to fuck.

Yep sadly this is very true. I grew up in South London and went to school in one of the toughest schools in Brixton. Girls used to tuck knives into their knee high socks incase they were mugged on the buses. That’s the sort of lives some of these people live. They kid themselves that drugs / crime is a normal part of life for everyone, when it isn’t. They have some sort of weird mentality where they think that because the violence is (usually, not the case here!) only against other gangs / drug dealers that it’s okay - a bit like the old glamour surrounding the Krays (people thinking it was okay because they only went after their own etc). It’s a messed up way of thinking. I don’t know how anyone goes about changing it. I’m glad I don’t live there anymore. It’s like a different world.

dayswithaY · 01/04/2023 09:14

I have admiration for the girlfriend who spoke up. Yes, she happily hooked up with this drug dealing scum but she obviously woke up from her fog pretty quick and did the right thing when a child was killed.

The long term girlfriend turned up at court in a pink coat and sunglasses like Paris Hilton and stood there whining to the press about him being framed.

She, and his wider family knew 100% how he made his money and what he did to people who crossed him. They lived a fantasy life on all that cash and didn’t care about anyone else. I hope they live a life of poverty now but he’s prob got piles of cash hidden away somewhere.

You think she was an innocent bystander in all of this ? She knew everything and used her Salon to launder money. The Police should be going after her, she is as guilty as hell.

User98866 · 01/04/2023 09:18

What vile specimens they are. She looked like a prize twat turning up in that bright pink coat. Most people would want to slink away unnoticed.

Greenshake · 01/04/2023 09:18

Hopefully there will be some way in which the Proceeds of Crime Act can be used with the partner.

Like a female Stephen Bear. Vile.

ChocSaltyBalls · 01/04/2023 09:19

He’s not going to have been bringing home £5k a week and her had no clue where it had come from. She may not have known the finer details but she must have known he was up to no good.

MichelleScarn · 01/04/2023 09:27

No sympathy for her. Sympathy for Olivia's family, sympathy for the woman who gave evidence and is now in witness protection.
Sympathy for cashmans powerless kids, yes.

thegrain · 01/04/2023 09:29

I don't know why the media are reporting on her. Him fair enough. And the police can investigate her as appropriate and then if/when she's charged then sure go for it.

That might be the only coat she has ffs.
