My DH doesn’t have the legs, but at least this guy is not wearing lipstick and a wig, and dresses his top half like man. His wife helps him choose the clothes.

OP posts:

This again.

Tight skirts and skyscraper heels? It's a fetish. I don't know a single woman who dresses like that. (I'm aware some do but it's relatively uncommon these days)
So no, I wouldn't like it.

100% a fetish. If I was his wife I'd be out the door before you could say Autogynephilia.

Forgooodnesssakenow · 10/03/2023 17:54

I've seen this story before, not a fan of the style BUT my gorgeous husband in a kilt? Every damn day!!

FiveNineFive · 10/03/2023 17:56

Mumsnet: Why can't trans women admit they are men who like wearing women's clothes? They wouldn't bother us then

Also Mumsnet: Men who wear womens clothes are disgusting perverts.

I like men in kilts too.

Less keen on the attire of the guy in the OP though. He just looks like an attention seeking twonk to me.

JudgeRinderonTinder · 10/03/2023 18:01

He looks bloody stupid, so no. Sorry if I cause offence but he does 😂

jazzybelle · 10/03/2023 18:04

No because I really couldn't be bothered with any attention or aggravation it might bring.

Buzzinwithbez · 10/03/2023 18:05

Why would anyone want to dress in something so uncomfortable?

TattyDevine · 10/03/2023 18:08

This is great 😆

I'm surprised he hasn't chosen comfort though...

whatkatydid2013 · 10/03/2023 18:15

I’m all for supporting that anyone can wear anything. I personally think anyone wearing those kind of heels is a glutton for punishment but people wear all manner of uncomfortable clothes because they like them. My OH wouldn’t dress like that in a million years but I can imagine if it wasn’t for fact others would make a big deal he’d go for wearing a loose fitting dress sometimes as he’s commented on more than one occasion how nice it must be to wear something without a waistband. People make too much fuss about this kind of thing. It’s just clothes and it’s really not necessary to categorise them so strictly into male ones and female ones

Catspyjamas17 · 10/03/2023 18:17

Yes, sure. Not sure about the heels, but DH has fantastic beefy legs.

Edithisoverthere · 10/03/2023 18:20

He was a poster boy for AGP all the other times he got attention, and he still is.

They would be in the right toilet/ changing room/ prison though so wouldn't bother women.

Most fetishes have a limited audience.

KilljoysMakeSomeNoise · 10/03/2023 18:35

Why when men dress as women is it this over sexualised clothing? Most women I know don't wear this to work anymore. It looks like what my mum wore in the 80s! It's all very attention seeking.

It reminds me of that advert for moneysupermarket

KilljoysMakeSomeNoise · 10/03/2023 18:36

Not sure why it cut half my post off. (Or it could be just the app)

It's all very attention seeking, and what most women I know wear now. He dresses like my mum did in the 80s!

80sMum · 10/03/2023 18:51

I don't know why anyone in their right mind, of whatever gender, would choose to wear such high heels! They look crippling! Even if they're not painful to wear, they throw the body off balance and put stresses and strains on the joints in the feet, legs and spine.

Disingenuous. Why do men who claim to like women's clothing only ever like the pornified bits? I don't see any of them in pink trainers and workout leggings with a funky pattern and no pockets with a t-shirt saying "Happy" or "Smile". They never wear opaque tights, below the knee skirts, long sleeved blouses or cardigans. Always stiletto heels and low denier nylons and above the knee skirts.

PinkiOcelot · 10/03/2023 18:55

Not really no. He has got great legs though.

Laiste · 10/03/2023 19:02

Yeah - i too was just thinking - why is it that when men dress in clothes more usually associated with women, it's either Debbi Does Dallas or Margret Thatcher?

Does he ever go out in a comfy skirt and flats? I bet not.

If this was a 60+ year old woman wearing these clothes to work - once the usual caveat of 'We Can Wear What We Like' is out of the way - would so many be saying it looks ''amazing''? Or would it more likely be more ''dated'', ''uncomfortable'' and ''overly sexual and strangely attention seeking'' for an average day at the office?

I recon the later.
But when a man wears it - oh how AMAZING Confused

Wakemeup17 · 10/03/2023 19:06

He has amazing legs! And he wears the clothes really well.

Cosmos123 · 10/03/2023 19:08

Looks really ridiculous.

Attention seeking as noway are your feet not sore after couple of hours in those heals.

U2HasTheEdge · 10/03/2023 19:08

Nah. Some men look great in skirts, dresses, sarongs etc. Love a bit of eyeliner on men too. I have a friend who rocks a dress.

This man? No. Not attractive or cool. His style is awful and he is clearly an attention seeker. It's a fetish.

LittleRedYarny · 10/03/2023 19:09

Absolutely fine, he isn’t hurting anyone or being obscene. The only person I see at risk here is him, when he twists an ankle on those heels (and yes I am a bit jealous of his heel wearing.)

boboshmobo · 10/03/2023 19:25

I'd find it very unattractive , he looks rather daft imo but of course he can wear what he likes 🤷‍♀️

I bet even his wife doesn’t wear that style.
