My DH doesn’t have the legs, but at least this guy is not wearing lipstick and a wig, and dresses his top half like man. His wife helps him choose the clothes.

He's a weirdo & his legs don't even look that good anyway, imo.

swimlyn · 10/03/2023 15:30

Disgusting.

Starching his jeans as a young man?

What was he thinking?

Aarohi · 10/03/2023 15:30

The skirt suits actually blend in so well they're hardly noticeable. If he works somewhere with a "business formal" dress code shorts are probably prohibited, so it makes sense to wear trousers ona cold day and the matching skirt on a warm one. But I'm not sure why the article says (about five times) that he's wearing them "proudly" - they look pretty much like what anyone would wear to the office. The shoes look like he borrowed them from Nicola Sturgeon: very '80s, like a Cosmo "pretty up yr business suit" article or an Enjoli commercial.

DarkHorizon · 10/03/2023 15:34

There was one a time I would not have cared and would have thought it was really funny! Now I would care and I would start worrying about what comes next...

Rosula · 10/03/2023 15:35

I just don't get why anyone would wear such uncomfortable shoes if they don't have to.

EmmaDilemma5 · 10/03/2023 15:35

I couldn't be in a romantic relationship with a cross dresser. I don't care if others do it, but I need to find my partner attractive and I really don't find that attractive, even on the best looking man.

I8toys · 10/03/2023 15:36

I don't think women wear this to the office anymore. Its old fashioned and very Working Girl the film and dated. We've realised trainers are more comfortable and can be just a smart with a trouser suit.

InsertMoniker · 10/03/2023 15:37

Scrolling down the pictures, it looks like he works in a garage, there's a pic of him wearing a skirt and low heeled boots with the explanation underneath that he wears this stuff to his day job. I assume that's his day job. Can't see how any of the other outfits would be any use there.

The dad-of-three said: "I've always been fascinated by stilettos and high heels.”

Its a fetish.

And what’s fascinating about stilettos and high heels? What the male equivalent? That’s right, there isn’t one. Same for fishnet stockings, sheer tights, skin tight skirts and basques. All these items are highly sexualised and I am sick of people pretending that clothing choices are somehow neutral or not related to sex.

Same for drag.

His skirts aren't skin tight or highly sexual. I do agree about the worry of transition but you are a bit of a pervert yourself if you actually believe the skirt is sexual. Are you okay? I wonder if you go around slut shaming business women if you actually believe that...

This guy is really well known, he's been in the media tons of times. It makes him happy, he isn't hurting anyone and he looks good.

Him being in the media says it all.

He is an attention seeker and doing whatever he can to get a reaction out of people.

I do think certain clothes should be gender-less and I often wear mens clothes.

But the type of clothes he’s wearing is to draw attention.

Many men wear quilts or other dress or skirt sort of wear and there’s also male heels but I guess these wouldn’t give him the attention he requires.

He has an insta page and wants more followers. It's part of his income.

Not attractive to me and 99% of women but who gives a shit. He can wear what he likes, not hurting anybody at all. I'm sure he does like the attention. Oh well.

InsertMoniker · 10/03/2023 15:40

Oh. I've missed reading some bits.

BCBird · 10/03/2023 15:42

Nope I would not like it

MrsDrDear · 10/03/2023 15:44

His Instagram has over 600k followers, he describes himself as a 'fashion model'.

I suppose it's just a money making gimmick, lots of influencers about doing weird stuff for the cash.

teaandtoastwithmarmite · 10/03/2023 15:50

His legs look amazing but does anyone wear that stuff anymore. He's kind of right though. Why should only women wear it. I live in trainers though so fair play to him for walking about with the foot cripplers on. If my DH wore that I would probably laugh just because it wouldn't be his thing at all

ImAGoodPerson · 10/03/2023 15:52

Poorlittlepoorgirl · 10/03/2023 15:13

His legs are wayyy too feminine it would be a massive turn off for me. He looks very strange.

his calfs look huge in some of the photos and quite veiny (as in muscly-veiny), they look feminine as they are so smooth I think but I really haven't seen many if any with legs like that, even those I know who lift weights seriously.

Briallen · 10/03/2023 15:52

I wouldn’t find it attractive in my husband, no. But I don’t really care how mark dresses because he isn’t my husband and it’s just a dated looking office skirt and heels so not offensive. I’m not sure why mark thinks it’s newsworthy though?

XelaM · 10/03/2023 15:54

It's disgusting 🤮

speakout · 10/03/2023 15:55

He should save his kinks for the bedroom.

CouldIHaveThatInEnglishPlease · 10/03/2023 15:56

I do believe that people are free to dress like they want and how they feel comfortable and if that made dh happy then ok.
however, I am also entitled to me feelings and they are just as valid and I cannot find a man in a skirt and heels attractive at all. And if I can’t be attracted to dh, then our relationship would be over. Friends fine, but romantic lovers? Not a chance

PeppermintTea2021 · 10/03/2023 15:56

I shuddered when he used the word "paired with" as it's such a twee way of describing an outfit. I'm glad he doesn't seem to think that wearing heels and a skirt makes him a woman or anything, and he looks reasonably good but it's definitely fetishistic and so a bit off - I mean most those heels are stripper heels in my view so I wouldn't wear them professionally and I like heels.

SadGirl6 · 10/03/2023 16:01

No.

Arrocahar23 · 10/03/2023 15:00

Poor Patrick!

He did wear a dress occasionally in TNG early episodes

FrosteeFlake · 10/03/2023 16:05

theescapeladder · 10/03/2023 11:56

He looks great!
As long he doesn't start claiming that high heels and a skirt make him a Woman+ 🤭

Feminine clothing can look great on men just as masculine clothing can be worn by women and there's nothing wrong with that.

This

I’m not sure he did but you can see crewmen in the background wearing dresses.

Good for him, clothes are genderless and he clearly has the legs for it!
