To ask if you would be happy if your husband dressed like this?

My DH doesn’t have the legs, but at least this guy is not wearing lipstick and a wig, and dresses his top half like man. His wife helps him choose the clothes.

Personally I think he looks a bit old fashioned.
Would I be happy if my husband did it ? I'm not sure tbh. Probably not. But logically he is just wearing clothes. Woman didn't used to wear trousers it's just a social construct

This guy is really well known, he's been in the media tons of times. It makes him happy, he isn't hurting anyone and he looks good.

I wouldn't care, no. It's a non issue and men should have more freedom in how they dress tbh.

He looks okay but I wouldn't buy the idea with my dh. Each to their own but this does smack of attention seeking. I wonder how his dc get on with the idea and does it affect them? Kids as we know can be vicious.

I'd find that incredibly cringe-inducing and "look at me", so no, I wouldn't like my husband to dress that way. I'd also worry that it was the first step toward transitioning. It's making a statement, and that's not a statement I find attractive in a potential mate.

Fwiw, I don't particularly like it when women are aggressively attention-seeking in their fashion, either. Of course they're perfectly free to do so, and I would never say a word to them about it, but I don't have to like it or think it's a good or admirable thing.

And what’s fascinating about stilettos and high heels? What the male equivalent? That’s right, there isn’t one. Same for fishnet stockings, sheer tights, skin tight skirts and basques. All these items are highly sexualised and I am sick of people pretending that clothing choices are somehow neutral or not related to sex.

He's great legs! Got a great laugh imagining my husband dressed like this. He has long hair 😆 but still, wouldn't see him wearing a skirt or dress.

Wouldn't be for me. But doesn't bother me, each to his own. But genuinely can't get over how great his legs are!! And jealous he can wear heels!

To be honest I don't really know any women or men who dress like this. I just don't think it's something I relate to. I can't imagine my husband doing it or being attracted to him if he did, but at the same time, none of my friends dress like this either.

I find the human race bizarre eg how we have assigned bits of cloth that cover our bodies as either male or female .

But his legs very clearly look like a man's legs in most of those photos 🤷‍♀️

He has good legs but I hate heels on anyone. They make me wince at the thought of the discomfort and impracticality. I don't understand the urge...

I do think certain clothes should be gender-less and I often wear mens clothes.

But the type of clothes he’s wearing is to draw attention.

Many men wear quilts or other dress or skirt sort of wear and there’s also male heels but I guess these wouldn’t give him the attention he requires.

I wouldn't be happy if DP dressed like this, no. It would tell me something about his personality/character that doesn't suit mine.

As an aside- why is it always tight skirts and high heels that men like this favour? Why not a loose maxi dress or skirt and a pair of flats?

It looks odd to me because his top half and bottom half seem like two totally different outfits. I wouldn't like my husband to do it, but I wouldn't judge him for liking skirts. Kilts aren't that different and high heels were originally designed for men after all. And seems unfair for women to get to wear mens clothing but not vice versa.

I think it's great that he's saying that you should be able to wear whatever you feel comfortable in, and that it doesn't change your sex.

I don't like the look and wouldn't find it attractive but I'm sure he wouldn't like my outfit choices either.
