This is abuse. What kind of parent takes their baby to a show like this?

What has happened to safeguarding? If I'd taken my babies to a strip/sex show in the eighties or nineties I'd have had SS breaking down my door. Can't these silly, silly women see they are being groomed and allowing their babies to be groomed? Every paedo in the world is jacking off to these photos.

Honestly, safeguarding has always depended on how comfortable the adults are with upsetting other adults in order to protect children.
It is why so much goes under the rug.

I'm afraid I don't think I know enough to understand your point. You sound very clued up though.

You wouldn't bring your child to this event, you wouldn't I presume, think that your grandchild deserved to starve and be buried in a mass grave or be adopted whilst your daughter was an imprisoned slave?

It's the same vibes coming from these woke White mothers, like those in history willing to enable Eugenics Akton T4 and the laundry, hence I am intrigued what it is about them that throws the vulnerable on this cults alter with a grin on their faces?

nilsmousehammer · 04/03/2023 08:09

It also has to do with that most of the women involved here are the educated, articulate, middle class kind, let's be honest. The demographic is relevant when talking about social services' likely judgement on parenting skills.

piedbeauty · 04/03/2023 08:11

Ones who are so "open minded" that their brains have fallen out.

Yes!!

Honestly, I'm embarrassed for them. What a bunch of muppets. What are they thinking?!

I think it’s fantastic. It’s more entertainment for the parents with plenty of sensory stimulation from the colours, dancing and singing for the kids

I think young kids have loads of sensory stimulation, particularly tablets, TV, kids youtube etc.

What about giving a toddler the skill to sit with mum or dad and listen to a story. With the appropriate, rhymes, clapping, little dance movements etc.

Vebrithien · 04/03/2023 08:12

I work with safeguarding. Have done for 15 years.

This is a major safeguarding concern. Babies and children can't consent to this.

On a similar safeguarding concern, please consider signing the petition to clarify that sex in the Equality Act means biological sex, and not legal sex.

No hormonal or surgical interventions are needed to gain a Gender Recognition Certificate, changing the legal sex on the birth certificate. A fully intact, XY male would legally be classed a female. Organisations and companies are scared they will be sued, if they provide single sex spaces. Making the Equality Act clear that sex is biological would allow organisations to confidently offer single sex spaces.

Young girls should not have to risk seeing a penis, (either flaccid or erect) in their toilets, or changing rooms.

Are you suggesting that there is a greater number of personality disordered in this demographic? If they aren't low IQ, I can't see what else is causing this?

WTAF have I just seen 😳
Surely this is fake !?

knittingaddict · 04/03/2023 08:14

Brilliant way of putting it! Yes.

Hapless handmaidens propping up mysogynistic ideology.

CrosswordConundrum · 04/03/2023 08:20

If the performer was a biological female I would find it highly inappropriate as why do babies/toddlers need to see provocative dancing in suggestive clothing for it to be stimulating?

Oysterbabe · 04/03/2023 08:21

This is where tolerating drag queen story time has got us. I'm glad the issue is getting some attention and more people are waking up and seeing the problem. Hopefully at least a few of the mums who dragged their kids to this will see that it was wrong.

dentydown · 04/03/2023 08:22

I don’t mind drag shoes for kids. I wouldn’t be comfortable around that style of show.

so fully clothed, storey time, songs, make up lots of glitter/sparkle. I’m ok with it.

the twirling around on the fake phallis, naked swing isn’t for me. (I would also be concerned that the kids would try to replicate it at home as well).

Yeah if it wasn't sexualised they'd just be in a gym leotard or something.

Yes, if the performers were wearing standard family circus style or family dance recital or family acrobatics performance wear and not doing moves that are sexualised, fine.

These threads are a very good indication that too many people’s sexual boundaries have been lowered and people have been desensitised to it.

At that age my kid was happy with a trip to the supermarket

It never ceases to amaze me that it seems to be educated, middle class white straight women who seem to be the biggest non LGB set of people who have fallen for Queer Theory hook line and sinker.

I guess that poorer or less white people may have their heads far more screwed on as to the potential pitfalls of "edginess" ( what with living it every day) and because we don't have the cushion of social second chances we aren't going to make an obvious cultural Red Flag the basis of any personal progressivism. People have long recall and are far less forgiving of Nonce Support outside of certain circles as people like Harriet Harman already know.

I guess most resent using children as adult sexual validation, even of they cannot articulate what they KNOW to be happening in front of their eyes. It's this inarticulation that craven progressive types use against poorer/less white people and call it "bigotry" and worse they use the same class that a lot of them share with white middle class types that ARE against this cultural sexual grooming.

It's like the sixties again when women were expected to drop their drawers once the pill came into being, but up to now still get called the Whore and "sexual liberation" was really men being allowed to rut "consequence free" until 1981 with male destigmatisation being the basis of sex education since the 1990s.

Of course straight men aren't even being "called upon" to openly show support of Queer Theory since it benefits the perverted amongst them or they are seen as "wishful thinking" potential partners whose feathers aren't to be ruffled by deluded Transwomen and self hating gay men.

Martin Luther King seems to have been very correct in his assessment of the narcissism of a certain type of white liberal.

I grew up in Brighton. I grew up going to Pride. Drag queens aren’t new to me. They weren’t new to me as a young child.

But this smacks of a weird sort of liberal performative parenting that really grinds my gears. Your kid isn’t getting anything from this. It’s just smug Instagram fodder.

This.
Why would these adults perform in front of babies and young children who don’t have spending power. You have to ask yourself what’s in it for them and grooming is the only thing that comes to mind.
