I've already signed this one so thought I'd do my bit a different way.

Done. But done, I confess, with a fair bit of trepidation. I've signed lots of petitions and never been worried. But I do worry about the impact on my career with this one were the signatories to be leaked. Which is appalling in and of itself.

It is appalling. It is an entirely reasonable petition. Everybody with either reason or honesty knows ‘sex’ really was always supposed to mean biological sex; and would also know that women have the right to some spaces away from men whatever role and identity they are living under.

Whoever it is you work for, they just better not even think of sacking someone like you for signing it.

Just curious, have any husbands signed? My husband hasn't yet and I'm working on it. Perhaps I'm not presenting the material properly? I keep it very light hearted though. No heated debates. That wouldn't work with him. I joked last night that if he wanted a woman to share his bed with, he should protect in law what a woman was. He stopped and thought about that one! Any suggestions?
