Do I show woman pictures of her husband on tinder?

I matched with a guy and found him on tinder. I changed my pictures to his from Facebook (it was 1am lol) and let it unfold…

he denied it was him lol. He said he’s been single since 4 years and also when I mentioned his wife’s name, he claimed he didn’t know her. They have the same surname… been together since teens.

we didn’t meet up so I don’t know if I should let it be….

Do you like to go on dates with married men?

Good on you. I'd leave it there though. Given him a good scare though!

stairgates · 21/01/2023 12:05

Tell the wife, it may be the reason she's been waiting for to leave the bastard.

Walterwhiteswifey · 21/01/2023 12:05

"I changed my pictures to his from Facebook (it was 1am lol)"

I don't understand what this means?

Alwayswonderedwhy · 21/01/2023 12:07

Lol. No idea what the changing pictures at 1am means? Lol

Colderthanever · 21/01/2023 12:08

What do you mean you changed your pictures to his> there is clearly some back story here with you and this guy

ToBeOrNotToBee · 21/01/2023 12:10

You have absolutely no idea what is happening within their marriage.

Unless you know her personally, you sound like a right nasty piece of work.

growgrowinggrown · 21/01/2023 12:11

If you're going to tell the wife with screenshots then just do it, by letting him know you might you're giving him opportunity to start spinning a story and dripping in her ear.

I agree I don't want to be accidently dating married men, and this might be the push she needs to leave. However, you don't need to drag it out and make a big deal out of it with him.

Colderthanever · 21/01/2023 12:11

It reads like you stole his pics and pretended to be him. Is this right?

are you quite well?

OhBitchPeas · 21/01/2023 12:12

Changed your picture to his? What?

Thatboymum · 21/01/2023 12:15

This isn’t normal at all. What he’s doing is shitty but what you’ve done is just as bat shit crazy shitty

ThePoshUns · 21/01/2023 12:16

You sound like a bunny boiler

FuckoffeeBeforeCoffee · 21/01/2023 12:17

I don't really understand what you're saying here.

QueSyrahSyrah · 21/01/2023 12:17

Well that's a fucking weird thing to do. When I was dating I didn't want to date married men, so if I had a suspicion they were I'd just unmatch or block them and move on.

Married or not it sounds like this guy has had a lucky escape.

Whatmarbles · 21/01/2023 12:20

Can you explain the picture swapping?
I don't really get what you mean.

I changed my pictures on tinder to three from his Facebook page. He looked alot different due to weight loss and good lightening, but it was still him.

a minute after he said “why do you have my pictures on your Facebook”.

”fucking weird thing to do”.

everyone looks on social media. Me doing it early saved many hours of chatting/meeting etc.

No I saw his Facebook and instead of asking “hey are you married” I just changed to see his reaction.

OP posts:
QueSyrahSyrah · 21/01/2023 12:26

@Northwestsouth I'm not talking about looking at his social media, I'm talking about saving his photos from it and changing your own profile to include them! THAT's the fucking weird thing to do!

A normal situation would be to peek at his social media, see that he appears to be married, un-match and forget about him.

VanGoghsDog · 21/01/2023 12:28

So you started chatting to "James" and magically found him on Facebook with literally that info? Sure you did.

Supertatato · 21/01/2023 12:30

Im confused too. Do you actually know him and his wife?

HuntingoftheSnark · 21/01/2023 12:32

I'm impressed that you could get to his profile on Facebook from a very common first name and a photograph on Tinder. How ...?
