Do I show woman pictures of her husband on tinder?

Northwestsouth · 21/01/2023 12:00

I matched with a guy and found him on tinder. I changed my pictures to his from Facebook (it was 1am lol) and let it unfold…

he denied it was him lol. He said he’s been single since 4 years and also when I mentioned his wife’s name, he claimed he didn’t know her. They have the same surname… been together since teens.

we didn’t meet up so I don’t know if I should let it be….

So you started chatting to "James" and magically found him on Facebook with literally that info? Sure you did.

His company was on it. So I googled his first name, company, city and LinkedIn. Easy enough…

Are you trying to get yourself in the Daily Fail?

JaneJeffer · 21/01/2023 13:04

Run James, run very fast...

Eileen101 · 21/01/2023 13:04

This whole scenario is the oddest thing I've read in a while... 👀

ClockingTime · 21/01/2023 13:05

You sound like you need a bloke in a white coat rather than a bloke for a date op.
Regardless of what time it is.

theworldsgonefeckingmad · 21/01/2023 13:05

FuckoffeeBeforeCoffee · 21/01/2023 12:53

I can't believe you've actually managed to be the one in the wrong in this scenario but here we are.

🤣🤣🤣

Colderthanever · 21/01/2023 13:05

You usually hear about it from the other side on here. How old is a bear pit and men do completely unhinged stuff. This is the first time I’ve actually seen a woman come on and admit to behaving in such an unhealthy stalker way.

Yesthatismychildsigh · 21/01/2023 13:05

You sound about 12. And unstable.

SleeplessInEngland · 21/01/2023 13:06

No. Mind your own business you weirdo.

DestinysGrandchild · 21/01/2023 13:07

I still don't get the picture part? If you found his Facebook and wanted to tell the wife you could have just done that.

Proper weird this🤣

Bellalalala · 21/01/2023 13:08

So how do you know, whoever you were talking to hadn’t also stole his photos?

This is really odd.

  • OP matched with a guy on Tinder.
  • Found him on Facebook.
  • Changed her tinder pics to 3 of his Facebook pics.

It's actually quite easy to find Tinder people on social media. If they give your their job/location etc.I also reverse image their pictures.

Anyway, you're completely batshit OP, but good on ya! If he's married.

Bet he's shitting himself.

Wonder why he didn't delete you immediately. Probably wants to see how much you know.

Thanks.

sorry I should have proof read everything so it made sense.

I would have thought cheaters wouldn’t have put on their company name on their profile! Without the company name I wouldn’t have known he was potentially in a relationship.

i checked his Facebook and saw his two kids and that he wore glasses. So I casually asked about both - to which he changed their genders and stated he didn’t wear glasses. He also claimed to be single for four years.

I than changed my profiles to three of his, from Facebook. He instantly responded “why do you have a pic of me on your profile”. Lol. So it’s 100% him.

it was so strange how he claimed to not know his wives name…. Had he just said “yes we split up recently, but everything was a lie. She had changed her profile pic for him and her in October…. Still together,

Can you imagine if I didn’t do some “due diligence”. Ffs.

I'm impressed that you could get to his profile on Facebook from a very common first name and a photograph on Tinder. How ...?

It's actually really easy when you're chatting to them and get more info.

I used OLD for 4 years and towards the end I could fine someone in social media within an hour or 3 of chatting. It was an ongoing joke in my friendship group....

Most women experienced in OLD do this, whether they admit it or not. I think it's justified before investing time and mainly to check out they are who they say they are, pics are recent etc

However, while I regularly found them on SM and done "due diligence" I would just block any who were married. Don't think I ever admitted to a guy that I'd found their profile and viewed it. It was always one of those unspoken things that everyone knew happened

I'm surprised men (especially married ones) are so quick to give away info that allows them to be so easily found

They were selfies so where could they be stolen from? He looked 20 times better in his Tinder profile.

What on earth is going on in the house of commons?

Lemme get this straight.

You matched with a guy on tinder.
You then found his fb profile and found out he was married.
You took pics from his FB and placed them on YOUR tinder profile?

One question.... Why?

😳😳😳😳😳

What is putting HIS pics on YOUR tinder going to achieve

i literally have no words. You really need help. You simply can’t see how unacceptable your behaviour is.

as a pp said, it beggars all belief but you literally made yourself the one in the wrong here.

Another that thinks you're shit stirring and probably drunk if you are doing it at 1am.

Put the wine down. Forget about it. Non of your business

Were you drunk?

WetBandits · 21/01/2023 13:12

That’s a very strange thing to do. Couldn’t you have just asked “are you married?”, or if you were absolutely determined to tell his wife, just send her the screenshots, no fuss or performance.

No need for this ridiculous game playing Confused

Any of his other social media that your stalking hasn’t uncovered.
