To think that a man standing outside a school in girls uniform is not OK?

crinklemum2 · 20/01/2023 08:35

Name changed as this is very local and he was seen wearing my DD's school uniform.

A local school uniform shop shared images to reassure parents they would not be selling him any items. Essex police say he poses no risk and people should stop sharing the photos. He looks to be late 50s/early 60s.

He's been seen around schools - both primary and secondary - dressed as a school girl (in their uniform). I am fucking outraged that the police don't seem to think that's an issue. God forbid we offend men or shame their fetishes.

AIBU that this must be an antisocial behaviour at the very least?

Most of us agree this is disgusting, does anyone know what we can do? If Essex police won’t do anything can we take it further? I’d be horrified if this was near my 11 year olds school, we need to support this community and get it stopped so we know how to do it if it happens in our own.

Holdmycoat · 20/01/2023 10:22

Parents need to stand outside and watch this man, it's a free country after all.

TrollMunter · 20/01/2023 10:23

Very much doubt he’d be there for long outside my kids school. He’d have pitchfork prongs in his butt cheeks before he can say ‘be kind’.

That’s not all he’s doing. He’s riding the bus where school children are riding, dressed in the uniform,

“and taking pictures of the kids“

Is that legal?

Could he be a dad who is trying to make his daughter laugh?!? Like why have you gone straight for sexual perv and fetish?!?

Stop! Stop with your ridiculous excuses. He is a pervert and you know that to be true, deep down, deep deep down you know he is getting sexual pleasure from this. Enough with the gaslighting, we’ve fucking had enough of it 😡🤬😡🤬

HRTQueen · 20/01/2023 10:23

he hasn’t got a criminal history that’s why he is not a risk

neither did Jimmy Savile

What are people so afraid of these days? Something underhand exists in the echelons of our society and I for one can’t wait for it to be exposed.

This. There's a very sinister vibe to it all.

What do you mean?

I can't believe people on this thread are defending the obviously dangerous man. Is it female socialisation, a total lack of sensible safeguarding instincts or just inability to question men's obvious motives? He needs to be banned from going within 500m of any school, from speaking to any minor, from using buses within at least 45 minutes of school open/close times and from taking pictures in public places. Better that than the handwringing 'lessons will be learned' crap when the inevitable happens.

Holdmycoat · 20/01/2023 10:24

*'he hasn’t got a criminal history that’s why he is not a risk

Exactly, no criminal history they know of.

Are you really so naive?

DarkShade · 20/01/2023 10:25

I donb't really get why so many of you seem to be assuming that this man is trans? I would argue that the sexualisation of young female schoolgirls is very much a run of the mill "cis" (I know you all hate that word, I don't know how else to say non-trans) male interest, not a trans interest. The problem isn't that this man is wearing a skirt, obviously men can wear skirts. The problem is he's dressed as a school girl loitering outside their school. I guess it's possible that police are scared that other people will think the man is trans, but it's a bit of a leap all round.

The person saying what are you scared of? I'm scared he is going to attack these girls. They are already being made to feel afraid, which is bad enough and reason to move the man on. But his already deviant behaviour and lack of regard for others should make us think that he is more likely than most to engage in even more deviant behaviour. I think there's two possibilities: this man is a peadophile, or this man has mental problems. Either way, police are failing to help someone vulnerable. In the first case, they are failing to procect the girls, in the second case they are failing to protect botht the girls and the man himself.

stbrandonsboat · 20/01/2023 10:25

Ffs of course he's a risk.

Thanks to the TRAs any amount of sickening fetishes will now be seen in public places.

😡😡😡😡😡😡

Are you for real ? Firstly any dad with half a brain cell would know why it wouldn’t be a good idea. And secondly, this man has sourced, in his size, the uniforms of three different schools, identify on school buses etc. just hoe naive are you ?

Is it nice in your head? Full of bubbles and clouds and fluffy puppies.

Justalittlebitduckling · 20/01/2023 10:25

“We would like to remind the public that continued circulation of images on social media could have a detrimental personal impact on those concerned”

What about the detrimental impact on the kids

lovescats3 · 20/01/2023 10:26

No and I have experience of this - the school can complain to the police that a man is hanging around outside the school

Tearsndears · 20/01/2023 10:26

They are monitoring this man . But they can't stop him from wearing what he wants sick as it is . He needs the police to turn up when he's outside schools so he know Ed he been observed .

Emotionalsupportviper · 20/01/2023 10:26

Holdmycoat · 20/01/2023 10:22

Parents need to stand outside and watch this man, it's a free country after all.

And take photos of him, as it appears that he is taking photos of the children.

Lots of photos.

HRTQueen · 20/01/2023 10:23

EXACTLY!

Once he's committed his first crime, he will only get a slap on the wrist and there will still be a whole machinery that excuses him and support will be funnelled to him rather than the victim.
It's only when he's committed several crimes that he'll have a "history"

StephanieSuperpowers · 20/01/2023 10:27

Is it female socialisation, a total lack of sensible safeguarding instincts or just inability to question men's obvious motives?

Or some pervert men who've registered here and are keen to expand the bandwith of what mothers will allow pervert men to get away with by trying to explain this kind of disgusting behaviour away and bully women into caution about calling it what it is.

Also complain to all these officials that he is taking photos of the children

One of these men whose hard drive needs to be looked at“

This, absolutely. On what basis though, I’m not sure?
Any police officers here? Doesn’t there have to be a good, legal reason and a process before someone’s hard drive is taken? Not sure that being a weirdo and gut feeling would stand?

If they can look in a black boy’s school bag they can fucking look in a dirty bastard pervert’s hard drive.
