I've just utilised a family dog to escape for an hour.

No!!! Our family tradition is going for a walk on Christmas Day!! Up a mountain or round the block has always depended on the age of the kids and the weather.

Today is a walk round the block as the weather is shite and dh has broken his collar bone

I would have loved to but think I've left it too late now and its getting dark.

No, we’re just back from 2 hours in the park walking the nature trails.

We went out, saw lots of others doing similar. Wandered by the sea, contemplated a dip but too rough for me. It was lovely☺️

DH goes every year after opening pressies and before getting stuck into cooking/eating. This time he gets to see if his new jacket really is waterproof lol

It's better if there's somewhere nice to walk to, so I enjoy it when we visit relatives who live in the countryside. Not so bothered if it's just walking around where I live.

We always go for a Christmas day walk. I wouldn't be able to handle all the eating and drinking without it!
