Nope. We've just been. But then the dog needs to go out.

Winterfellismyhome · 25/12/2022 15:47

We dont but dont judge others for it. Each to their own

Iguessyourestuckwithme · 25/12/2022 15:47

I've just utilised a family dog to escape for an hour.

Gwdihooooo · 25/12/2022 15:48

No!!! Our family tradition is going for a walk on Christmas Day!! Up a mountain or round the block has always depended on the age of the kids and the weather.

Today is a walk round the block as the weather is shite and dh has broken his collar bone

LivingDeadGirlUK · 25/12/2022 15:48

I would have loved to but think I've left it too late now and its getting dark.

Foxytail · 25/12/2022 15:48

Wish I had a dog as I have to walk everyday for mental well-being

The dog likes to go out.

And I like to escape

Foxytail · 25/12/2022 15:48

You can still go for a walk in the dark surely ?

No, we’re just back from 2 hours in the park walking the nature trails.

Doyouthinktheyknow · 25/12/2022 15:49

We went out, saw lots of others doing similar. Wandered by the sea, contemplated a dip but too rough for me. It was lovely☺️

H1Drangea · 25/12/2022 15:49

We go for a walk most days , I don’t see what the problem is ?
Just go for a walk if you want to , it doesn’t matter what other people think.

You don’t need a dog

gogohmm · 25/12/2022 15:49

No, most the family are out now with the dog, I passed because I have the lurgy

nokidshere · 25/12/2022 15:49

DH goes every year after opening pressies and before getting stuck into cooking/eating. This time he gets to see if his new jacket really is waterproof lol

IggyAce · 25/12/2022 15:49

Dh & I went for a walk this morning, after he’d put the meat in the oven. It was lovely to get some fresh air.

ArcaneWireless · 25/12/2022 15:49

Yes. And we will be out for a gloaming walk. Not at night though because folk let off fireworks.

weathervane1 · 25/12/2022 15:50

We had a lovely walk this morning, as we do most days, and everyone was so friendly and full of Christmas wishes.

EdwardianDream · 25/12/2022 15:51

It's better if there's somewhere nice to walk to, so I enjoy it when we visit relatives who live in the countryside. Not so bothered if it's just walking around where I live.

Kingstonmumof1 · 25/12/2022 15:51

We always go for a Christmas day walk. I wouldn't be able to handle all the eating and drinking without it!

CoffeeBoy · 25/12/2022 15:51

Dh goes out for a ten mile run! 😬

Tandora · 25/12/2022 15:51

Huh?? We went for a walk, why on earth would this be weird??

Lostinabba · 25/12/2022 15:52

Kicked my lot with the dog, having a big glass of vino with faithless on full blast. Bliss.....

Spidey66 · 25/12/2022 15:53

No, but we've got a border collie who would go insane otherwise.

megletthesecond · 25/12/2022 15:54

It's completely normal.

Germolenequeen · 25/12/2022 15:54

I think it's weird not to 😬

MingeofDeath · 25/12/2022 15:56

Have just come in from a nice walk along the coast.
