DH farted on my meal

AIBU not to want to finish a meal that DH farted on?

Context: I had eaten maybe half my food, DH had finished the record time as usual - positions his arse next to my plate - with his arse touching the table - and farts.

He thinks I'm overreacting that I called him an animal and didn't eat the remainder of my food.

That's disgusting

Bananarama21 · 01/12/2022 18:51

Yeah this happened

FinalPushh · 01/12/2022 18:52
Hmm
HappyHamsters · 01/12/2022 18:53

Really?

Mouk · 01/12/2022 18:53

Sure he did!

TequilaNights · 01/12/2022 18:54

😂😂

Chickychoccyegg · 01/12/2022 18:54

If he really did this, that is absolutely disgusting, I couldn't be with someone who thought this was acceptable

NoSquirrels · 01/12/2022 18:55

In the world in which this happened, you married him knowing he was an immature twat.

BeverlyGoldberg · 01/12/2022 18:55

I haven't made this up. I'm kind of heartened people think it's made up in a way because that means that I'm not overreacting. I'm seriously pissed off. He's since apologised but I'm not relenting.

🤢🤮🤢🤮

SleepingStandingUp · 01/12/2022 18:56

His arse happened to be by your plate and an unexpected trump erupted - wouldn't eat but would forgive

His arse was deliberately placed adjacent to your plate and he forced one out - wouldn't eat and would consider whether he was abusive or just a dick

That's mean behaviour disguised as 'banter'. I genuinely don't think I could get past that.

QueenBeex · 01/12/2022 18:57

I can't imagine anyone immature/spiteful enough as an adult to genuinely do that to anyone's meal 🤔

Now he has to buy you a takeaway / cook another meal of your choice then move out I suppose.

Oysterbabe · 01/12/2022 18:58

I had assumed troll but I see you've been around for years.
Yanbu, absolutely disgusting.

Gwdihooooo · 01/12/2022 18:59

Did he do it on purpose?

Sixofseven · 01/12/2022 18:59

LTB

Luredbyapomegranate · 01/12/2022 19:00

LBT

really

username8888 · 01/12/2022 19:00

Does he realise even a 10 year old boy would be embarrassed by this?

StreamingCervix · 01/12/2022 19:01

Did he deliberately do it?

PinkiOcelot · 01/12/2022 19:02

That’s disgusting. I wouldn’t have been able to eat it either.

Merlott · 01/12/2022 19:02

What did I just read

PetraBP · 01/12/2022 19:02

My diagnosis:

Your DH has a mental age of 9.

BeverlyGoldberg · 01/12/2022 19:03

He's pissed off that I'm pissed off after he's apologised and now he's got the football on.

He had minor surgery (on a bone, not lifesaving) and I've taken a few days off work to look after him. I've waited on him hand and foot all day and now this.

What a fucking pig.

I’d be piling the remaining part of the food down his pants

Trollthenasty · 01/12/2022 19:04

Coil one out on his pillow.
