DH farted on my meal

AIBU not to want to finish a meal that DH farted on?

Context: I had eaten maybe half my food, DH had finished the record time as usual - positions his arse next to my plate - with his arse touching the table - and farts.

He thinks I'm overreacting that I called him an animal and didn't eat the remainder of my food.

The complete and utter lack of respect he has for you is staggering. I could not stay married to a man who did this.

CarefreeMe · 01/12/2022 19:15

This would be LTB territory for me.

I’m not fussed about people farting but this is absolutely vile!

He knew you weren’t going to eat your food after that and its no different than if he took it off you and threw it in the bin.

Magenta82 · 01/12/2022 19:15

This is disgusting and totally unacceptable. Both DP and I agree that it is revolting and not something either of us would tolerate.

CarefreeMe · 01/12/2022 19:16

This can’t be the only time he’s been so disrespectful.

Is he drunk?

OnlyFannys · 01/12/2022 19:17

I wouldnt have eaten it either, poo particles! 🤢 was it a deliberate fart that he thought was funny or an accident? The level of rage would depend on this? (One means I'd be pissed off for the night, the other means I'd be cleaning the toilet with his toothbrush)

YumSushi · 01/12/2022 19:18

That's gross

Hawkins001 · 01/12/2022 19:18

He's an animal and rude, but me being me, foods food

Pinot4me · 01/12/2022 19:19

Oh god. That’s dreadful.. yuk!

Bluekerfuffle · 01/12/2022 19:19

Trollthenasty · 01/12/2022 19:04

Coil one out on his pillow.

I don’t blame you for abandoning the meal after that, but this thread and then this comment on top of it have given me quite a laugh.

UnfitMum · 01/12/2022 19:20

@Hawkins001 😂

Hawkins001 · 01/12/2022 19:21

Instead of a horses head, what about a large snake ?

minou123 · 01/12/2022 19:21

You're right, he is a fucking pig.

The fact that he is now in a sulk means his apology meant naff all. He isnt sorry.

I know you didn't ask, but if I was you I wouldn't cook anything for him for a long time.

Topseyt123 · 01/12/2022 19:22

Blimey, we love a good ol' fart in this house, but even we wouldn't go that far

He's an arse.

diddl · 01/12/2022 19:23

Why did he do it?

Also why should you accept his apology?

You're still left with food that you can't eat!

Fairylightsandstuff · 01/12/2022 19:25

That’s disgusting 🤮

ICanHideButICantRun · 01/12/2022 19:25

I really, really hope you are a troll.

Scirocco · 01/12/2022 19:26

You can come have my dinner if you want, as that's put me right off food tonight.

bonkersbirdie · 01/12/2022 19:27

My son did this to his sister today. He's 12.

VickerishAllsort · 01/12/2022 19:28

Fucking pig??
You've truly got him sussed.
Disgusting specimen.

141mum · 01/12/2022 19:28

pictish · 01/12/2022 19:29

Motherofalittledragon · 01/12/2022 19:29

Branleuse · 01/12/2022 19:30

coodawoodashooda · 01/12/2022 19:30

BeverlyGoldberg · 01/12/2022 19:03

He's pissed off that I'm pissed off after he's apologised and now he's got the football on.

He had minor surgery (on a bone, not lifesaving) and I've taken a few days off work to look after him. I've waited on him hand and foot all day and now this.

What a fucking pig.

That's even worse.
