DH farted on my meal

AIBU not to want to finish a meal that DH farted on?

Context: I had eaten maybe half my food, DH had finished the record time as usual - positions his arse next to my plate - with his arse touching the table - and farts.

He thinks I'm overreacting that I called him an animal and didn't eat the remainder of my food.

Coil one out on his pillow.

😂😂😂

AdoraBell · 01/12/2022 19:48

He’s behaving like a 13 yr old, tell him to grow the fuck up.

Ffs. That's really dirty. No one should fart at all while someone is eating unless they really can't hold it in.

Even then they should get up and leave the room. Dirty fucker.

HotPenguin · 01/12/2022 19:49

Make him a cuppa then halfway through mention that you pissed in it.

BeverlyGoldberg · 01/12/2022 19:51

I've said he should make alternative arrangements for his recovery as I'm not putting up with him. I have one child to look after I don't want another.

Thanks to everyone for making me less like a lunatic. He appears to think I'm ridiculous for not wanting him to fart on my food.

We're entering the gaslighting phase now - apparently he wasn't that near, it didn't smell, I'm exaggerating.

For those asking if it was intentional - he needed fart, he manoeuvred to the table and aimed it at me.

I wish I was a troll. I'm sadly not Confused

Hopefully it’s just a silly kid making these threads up.

No, it's true. I remember it.

The title if the thread was innocuous, something like "AIBU to be angry?"

Then the story was, the Op was finishing her coursework or dissertation for Uni. She got into an argument with her boyfriend. Her BF got really angry and ejaculated over her coursework.

Naturally, the first few comments were "?" "Wtf" "are you a troll" etc

It could be the Op was on a wind up, but the thread did exist.

Sorry to go off topic

LaQuern · 01/12/2022 19:53

Grim but made me laugh, but then I do have the sense of humour of a 10 year old boy.

Just Dutch oven him, or catch a fart in your fist and let it go in his face.

stuntbubbles · 01/12/2022 19:08

According to the en suites thread, the fact you care about this means your relationship is fragile and you can’t cope with natural bodily functions. Eat up, buttercup!

😂

Sprouttreesareamazing · 01/12/2022 19:54

I bet using his toothbrush to clean the rim would be very catheritic...

ThreeRingCircus · 01/12/2022 19:55

If it was accidental I'd be furious but would get over it quickly. The fact he did it purposefully is absolutely disgusting....... he's a filthy pig. It is revolting and shows a complete lack of respect for you.

7eleven · 01/12/2022 19:55

Bloody hell OP. How gross. I’d go to work tomorrow and let him stew. That’s so hideously disrespectful.

Coughybreak · 01/12/2022 19:56

BeverlyGoldberg · 01/12/2022 19:03

He's pissed off that I'm pissed off after he's apologised and now he's got the football on.

He had minor surgery (on a bone, not lifesaving) and I've taken a few days off work to look after him. I've waited on him hand and foot all day and now this.

What a fucking pig.

From here on, I wouldn't make him so much as a cup of tea.

Long ago, I knew a man who might well have done that, at least with his boozy friends. But even he would draw the line at someone he ever hoped to have sex with again.

foxy86 · 01/12/2022 19:56

I can believe this. My step dad used to fart whilst we were all eating at the dining table. Used to do it a lot in one sitting and at most meals. Some ppl are just disgusting!

MrsBucketsDIL · 01/12/2022 19:58

Grounds for divorce if you ask me. I wouldn't even be able to look at him after that. Beyond vile. It's abuse dressed up as banter.

hellzbells · 01/12/2022 20:00

LTB territory

catandcoffee · 01/12/2022 20:00

I have no words to describe my thoughts.

Sippingonginandjuice77 · 01/12/2022 20:02

Wtaf??? I would have thrown the rest of my dinner at him!! That would def put me right off!!

Frenulumetta · 01/12/2022 20:02

Good idea do an amber turd in the bed and be annoyed at him for being annoyed males are revolting

Salome61 · 01/12/2022 20:03

I used to know someone whose partner did this sort of thing all the time - it was his party trick. Unfortunately his party trick and a poorly tummy on a group holiday was his undoing in front of everyone poolside :(

ScarierThanBoo · 01/12/2022 20:03

I can see this happening. Our dinner table is arse height. I guess he needs to recreate the dish sans fart doesn't he?

Colgated · 01/12/2022 20:05

Completely revolting, OP.

RedTable · 01/12/2022 20:07

My DH wouldn’t even contemplate that as normal as funny, of course you tell him to ok after himself. Sounds like the end of a line of lack of respect.

DesertIslandCondiment · 01/12/2022 20:07

If this happened. Why the fuck would you post it in AIBU or anywhere. Just get rid of the twat. Have some respect for yourself. If this really happened. The shit you read on here sometimes.

whynotwhatknot · 01/12/2022 20:09

gross my dh farts like a trooper which i hate anyway but never on my food

is he always like this

LadyGaGasPokerFace · 01/12/2022 20:09

My h would be wearing his dinner if he did that.
