AIBU not to want to finish a meal that DH farted on?

Context: I had eaten maybe half my food, DH had finished the record time as usual - positions his arse next to my plate - with his arse touching the table - and farts.

He thinks I'm overreacting that I called him an animal and didn't eat the remainder of my food.

If you hadn't said he'd gone to stay with his mum I'd be sure this was my ex. It's hideous OP. I hope you're ok x

How much contempt must he have for you to fart over your meal.

We have a rule about no farting and no burping around people who are eating. But husband forgot this.

Last week i was eating my first mince pie of the season (bearing in mind I had factored this mince pie into my diet and had waited all day to enjoy it) and my husband farted next to me- it was so disgustingly smelly that I actually cried. He ruined my mince pie and I’m still a bit annoyed about it!!!

Is the kind of arsehole that needs a shit just as you’ve got into a lovely bath?
