They are just so out of touch with people and come across as so patronising and smug. They pretend they understand about people's struggles whilst earning thousands in salary and promoting £100 advent calendars. Today they are doing a section on butter boards! Some people can't even afford the price of butter at the moment 😔

because, it is very hot in TikTok now, no wonder why the idea looks so idiot.

I think their audience is people who can, i.e. aren't breaking their back at work or scrambling to earn more money, but watching daytime telly.

God, I live in a vacuum, I hadn't heard any of the rumours and allegations about Schofield.

I've never really got the popularity of this morning. I haven't watched much of it for years but it really irritates me. The only time I'd think about watching is when Eamon and Ruth were on - I quite like them but they've gone now.

I haven't watched it recently to say how in time they are with the viewers. To be honest they probably have a huge demographic of viewers and I guess they have to cater for everyone. If all they talked about was COL,8' sure people would have something to say then too.

We’ve had to eat ours, so we don’t even have that option.

Fortunately my DH was able to get it to last a week for the two of us and our eight children.

I think that the last time I can recall watching a breakfast TV prgramme Roland Rat reigned supreme!

Not the point of the thread but I’ve now googled butterboards and cannot see the appeal! They don’t look very nice. They give the impression that the butter has been handled a lot which always grosses me out - I prefer my food handled to a minimum level. I’m also imagining someone’s soggy slightly garlic flavoured old chopping board tainting lots of fresh butter?

Exactly. Anyone who is working during the day isn’t watching this drivel. Anyone working nights is asleep. The only people watching are the ones who can afford not to work.

Holly used to be great when she was doing X-factor yonks ago: really spontaneous and natural.
I wanted to like her fronting TM but she's always been rubbish. Fern Britton so much better.
Think part of problem was that Holly was too young, inexperienced in life to do this when she joined.
And now she's been infected by that dickhead Schofield- they're both insufferably woke and boring- and he's a groomer, to boot. I don't give a shit what they think; I have no respect for their opinion/level of maturity.
I do feel Phil has dragged Holly down, though- she'd have been better off without him.

It's not complicated. You could do it cheaply. I am sure you just wash the board afterwards in hot soapy water. And it's not going to be the end of civilisation as we know it. Jeeez

Actually, I don't care if people are looking at butter-boards or Sarah Beeny's building a mansion. I like that stuff- the escapism of it- it doesn't anger or upset me. better than faux concern any day.

There is pictures on Twitter on him floating about about with the guy in question. I think the guy was 11 to early teens at best. Met him at stage school. Scofield is very much an adult.
