Return of women who were right about safeguarding

AIBU to think Mumsnet should allow women ( & men ) who were right about lack of safeguarding in certain places back on this site? ( if they wish to return) ?

They won't return even if asked though. MN killed off FWR. It's far from the place it used to be and it gets a fraction of the traffic it used to bring in.

Women who were vocal, & knew exactly what they were talking about when it came to safeguarding were unfairly ( imho) banned from Mumsnet. In light of very recent revelations those women have been proved correct.

Banned officially, as in kicked off the site? Safeguarding issues in what context? Things said on the site or things happening IRL, so to speak?

For people who are confused I imagine op is talking about the sudden removal of a mermaids trustee after it has been revealed he is supportive of paedophiles, including writing something extremely disgusting about shoes and children. If you want to know more you can find some news stories online and there's a lot on twitter. Along with other revelations that are not surprising in the slightest but thank goodness the truth is finally getting out and I hope a lot of people are ashamed of themselves.
