To wash pyjamas after each wear?

I wash my pyjamas after every wear, however this leads to LOADS of laundry every week… I’m wondering if I can cut down by wearing my pjs longer? They don’t smell but I’m not sure if this would be gross through, like I don’t wear knickers under them … So is it the same territory as rewearing dirty pants??🤔

How often do you wash your pyjamas? Like what is the normal pyjama etiquette? Would I be a complete tramp to put back on my dirty pjs?

OP posts:

Am I being unreasonable?

It's the 21st century ffs. Women, listen to me, it's OK to let your body be naked. It's no shameful or disgusting or "grim" to be naked in bed. You do not need knickers. Your planet matters more than your pjs.

@HMSSophia

who the fuck do you think you are to tell women what their fanny does or doesn't need??

I won't 'listen to you'. I'll listen to ME, about MY body.

I need knickers, as do many others & one day you might too. I hope you remember your bossy post.

@Chloefairydust

I even have to put my pjs back on after sexy time lol

if you buy some apple catchers, granny pants, this may no longer be called for too often.

My pyjamas still smell clean after but it’s just the thought of them being against my foo all night and then putting them back on…

I think it sounds like you're fine for 2/3 nights. There are times in my life I would have been & times I wouldn't! But when I was, I preferred to sleep naked! Now it's pants & tshirt most nights

Mumsnet = I only wear anything once before washing, change sheets weekly and wash my towels daily! Everything else is disgusting

Also mumsnet = my bills are skyrocketing, the environment is going to pot and I have too much washing and never get a break.

OP I wear my pyjamas for a week unless they get dirty and need it before then or there's a change in temperature so want different ones.

Spot on. Its really hard to reconcile the mumsnet majority who are terrified of rising fuel bills and can't heat their homes with the majority that launder everything they touch every day. Where are all the people in the middle?
