She just seems so nice and unaffected, especially considering the amazing life and attention she’s had. Never seem to hear a bad word about her and she still looks good!
I just basically want to be her and have had her life 🤣

Really?! In and out of rehab- I don't think that implies a life of happiness. I think I prefer my own life!

She is really nice. She came to our school once. And drove a friend back home when we were teenagers, and apparently had a nice chat with him about his interest in fashion and how not to sweat the small stuff etc.

Her session on desert island discs was really interesting - she came across well.

@3WildOnes When was she in and out of rehab? She seems happy enough 🤷🏻‍♀️

She's been in rehab once. In 1998. I love her, she seems very well grounded considering she was a supper model from the age of 14. Cracking sense of humour as well!

She was/is a drug addict that inspired anorexia in millions of young girls, apart from that she is great 🙄

Did you never do anything misguided or ill thought through when you were young and stupid?

No she didn’t inspire anorexia . It is not “on” her - she was part of a whole decade’s aesthetic.

I have no issues with Kate Moss as a woman. I do have issues with jealous women on Mumsnet.

I feel Kate has been violated and taken advantage of for most of her young adult life to a sickening degree. So I am not really coveting her life to be honest, as much of it has been a car crash and she is lucky to walk away in one piece given what she has been exposed to (many didn't)

I hope the next chapter will bring her health, peace and a chilled out existence that doesn't include ravaging her body with drugs and drink.

She is very far from a good example/role model

I love her so much, I watched the Vogue interview yesterday, and the one where her friends ask questions. She's had such a fantastic life and always seems to be having fun and not taking anything too seriously. She lived next to George Michael and used to pop over to use his pool. Envy (envious)

Jealous? Oh that old trope. I am afraid it is definitely NOT jealousy!
I feel very sorry for her, she has been a cash cow for the model moguls for years and they certainly didn't care about her welfare or well being. It has been a very hard and abrasive life, and I wonder truly whether anyone would seriously want that kind of life for their own child???

Didn't she have form for turning up hours late for modelling jobs and keeping everyone waiting?

She's a pro-ana muppet who helped boost a disgusting industry.

I agree that she was young and foolish for a lot of her time in the public eye. She's middle aged now and could be a rock of sense and good manners.
I just wouldn't see her as a particularly special role model.

She completely trashed a house she was renting in the village next to ours, and then fought every inch of the way against paying for the damage.

maybe she has changed.

That photo of her that’s everywhere today, with the super short skirt and topless on the catwalk is so exploitative of her as a young model.
I can only imagine what it is to grow up such an environment.
I think she’s done well, considering all this.
I would not want my daughter to be a model.

I have met her many times. She is nice but has earned her living by fulfilling the image that others have of her and projecting that back to them. So she has is very changeable dependant on who she is with.
She is witty and fun and madly beautiful, outrageously attractive. But I sort of feel a bit sorry for her. It feels like she never became her real self somehow, and that there is something she is always holding back.
And I think she was paid for giving evidence for Depp, because she doesn't do anything unless she is being paid.
