40year old female friend dating 19 year old male

Close friend is 40 years old and is dating at 19 year old male.

Have advised her that i find this to be strange and creepy.

What are your thoughts on this?

What's the issue? Can vote. Can live independently. Can get drunk/ smoke. Can do an online shop, pay taxes, father a child. Unable to choose who sleep with?? 🤣🤣🤣

19 is pushing it…he is really young. No problem with the age gap, but he is YOUNG. I think I would feel like I wasn’t doing a good thing for him, however keen he is. Feels a bit pervy.

Nothing illegal is taking place so probably just mind your own business. It will be all about the sex and when that wears off they will both be single again........

I agree…he might be technically old enough and no doubt he is super up for it. But I believe she should be protecting him from himself…even 22 /23 would be better. He is a teenager.

When my son was 19, he went out with a woman of 38. He was getting some experience Grin. At 23, he got with a woman of 50 (2yrs older than me) and they lived together for 6 years, Now, he's 38 and with a lovely woman of 30.

I’m 37 and my last relationship was with a 23 year old.

It was meant to be a bit of fun that got serious, he turned out to be very abusive with A LOT of issues. The sex was good but I wouldn’t do it again.

19 is too young though, even by my standards!
