Husband getting haircut from another woman

Am I losing my mind over nothing or did he cross a line?
My husband spent the night at his brothers house and the next day came home with a new haircut (terrible buzz cut, one length all the way round, looks like a kiwi fruit).
I asked him who did it and he said it was his brothers girlfriend. She’s no hairdresser. The haircuts I’ve given him in the past were just as bad but at least I did them. I’ve always said she’s a little too friendly with my husband. A bit of a pick me girl. He’s never seen it and never shown any interest during family gatherings.
I feel betrayed. I feel embarrassed. Surely she thought that she’s better than me and that I’m a useless wife that can’t even cut my husbands hair?! She’s a nice girl and we get on but I feel like that kind of stuff should be done by me or the hairdresser. No one else. Maybe his mum if push comes to shove. Why not go to the barber or ask me? Why ask her? I’m so upset and he’s saying I’m overreacting.

You are over reacting!!

CarlCarlson · 24/07/2022 16:04
Hmm
gelatogina · 24/07/2022 16:04

Definitely overreacting!

TheCrowening · 24/07/2022 16:05

Yes you’re overreacting. It’s his hair, not his dick.

user1471517900 · 24/07/2022 16:05

Yeah you're over reacting a lot to a haircut.

Bowtique · 24/07/2022 16:06

You are being utterly ridiculous. It’s a hair cut. Lol at looks like a kiwi fruit though.

Can you elaborate on what a pick me girl is please?

iklboo · 24/07/2022 16:06

Betrayed? Jesus Christ. It's a haircut not an STD.

LittleBirdBlu · 24/07/2022 16:06

Total over reaction!! You sound a little controlling saying only you or a hairdresser can cut his hair. What else do you control in his life?

BillHadersLeftEye · 24/07/2022 16:06

Won't somebody think of the children?

ChicCroissant · 24/07/2022 16:06

I feel betrayed. I feel embarrassed. Surely she thought that she’s better than me and that I’m a useless wife that can’t even cut my husbands hair?!

This is a bit of a stretch, OP - it's just a haircut, why do you see it as being all about you?

LoveLimesoda · 24/07/2022 16:06

This wouldn't bother me, and I'm not being all 'cool wife'!

My husband would just think 'free haircut'. I'd think 'great, one less thing for me to do'.

user1473878824 · 24/07/2022 16:06

Christ. Get a grip. You are overreacting massively. And I doubt she thought that you were a shit wife while cutting his hair. Because that’s insane.

SocksAndTheCity · 24/07/2022 16:06

What is a 'pick me girl'?

AgentProvocateur · 24/07/2022 16:07

Seriously? It’s a hair cut, not a blowjob.

FionnulaTheCooler · 24/07/2022 16:07

Well I'd be slightly annoyed at him for getting a crap free haircut instead of going to the barber and getting it done properly, unless he genuinely can't afford it. Feeling betrayed by it is pretty OTT though, he got a haircut he didn't shag her.

Loics · 24/07/2022 16:07

😂🤣

twoandcooplease · 24/07/2022 16:07

Looks like a kiwi fruit

user1471457751 · 24/07/2022 16:08

I'm hoping no one is this pathetic in real life. Its a haircut, no one cares and no one sees you as a bad wife because you didn't cut your husband's hair.

LarryTrotter · 24/07/2022 16:08

She gave him a haircut, not a wank.

Yabvu.

HoppingPavlova · 24/07/2022 16:09

You are talking about the hair on his head right? If so, YABU and batshit. Seriously, I couldn’t give a shit who cuts my DH’s hair, could be a local prostitute for all I care if all she is doing is the hair.

What is a 'pick me girl'?

Is Google down again?

vipersnest1 · 24/07/2022 16:09

Do you have some kind of hair fetish, OP?

Ontomatopea · 24/07/2022 16:09

looks like a kiwi fruit 😂

Yabu. It was just a hair cut

TidyDancer · 24/07/2022 16:09

Huge overreaction! I have a friend whose wife would be like this. It is not indicative of a healthy relationship. Hopefully this is just a moment of madness for you!

What is a 'pick me girl'?

Someone who appears desperate and goes to great lengths to be seen as desirable by the opposite sex.
