Husband getting haircut from another woman

Am I losing my mind over nothing or did he cross a line?
My husband spent the night at his brothers house and the next day came home with a new haircut (terrible buzz cut, one length all the way round, looks like a kiwi fruit).
I asked him who did it and he said it was his brothers girlfriend. She’s no hairdresser. The haircuts I’ve given him in the past were just as bad but at least I did them. I’ve always said she’s a little too friendly with my husband. A bit of a pick me girl. He’s never seen it and never shown any interest during family gatherings.
I feel betrayed. I feel embarrassed. Surely she thought that she’s better than me and that I’m a useless wife that can’t even cut my husbands hair?! She’s a nice girl and we get on but I feel like that kind of stuff should be done by me or the hairdresser. No one else. Maybe his mum if push comes to shove. Why not go to the barber or ask me? Why ask her? I’m so upset and he’s saying I’m overreacting.

It all seems rather silly.

Minimalme · 24/07/2022 19:15

Yes. You failed op. You are wifeing it up so wrong it's embarrassing.

Pick me girl spotted a vulnerable male whose wife had let him out for the day and cut his hair like a kiwi because she fruit is a turn on for her.

You dropped the kiwi ball op.

Yes you’re overreacting. It’s his hair, not his dick.

But this is MN, he's not allowed to choose his haircut, or anything else.

JudgeJ · 24/07/2022 19:15

But this is MN, he's not allowed to choose his haircut, or anything else.

He forgot to take his note with him. 😂

Roselilly36 · 24/07/2022 19:17

Other woman? Turns out to be his brothers gf, OP in the kindest way possible you need to rein in the jealousy.

LonelyInAutumn · 24/07/2022 19:26

This has to be a troll

myuterusistryingtokillme · 24/07/2022 19:28

Sorry, another one that is firmly on the side of your husband. You are being utterly a bit ridiculous and this is a massive overreaction. It's his hair, he gets to choose who cuts it and there is absolutely no reason that should restricted to a hairdresser, you or his mum (??)

If you feel betrayed and embarrassed because some other woman held some clippers that touched his head, you probably need to take a look at your unhealthy expectations of a relationship

You can always tell when schools out 🙄

Only the first week aswell!

CheesyColeslaw · 24/07/2022 19:32

What on earth? If this is real you're being ridiculous. It's a hair cut.

RusholmeRuffian · 24/07/2022 19:33

Hahaha, this is bonkers!

ThinWomansBrain · 24/07/2022 19:36

well if it looks like a kiwi fruit, probably a good thing he didn't pay for the haircut.

Was Kiwi Fruit the look he was going for?

Omg, LTB

BOOTS52PollyPrissyPants · 24/07/2022 19:46

Overreacting it is his brother's girlfriend and not as if she shaved his balls.

Purplecatshopaholic · 24/07/2022 19:53

TheCrowening · 24/07/2022 16:05

Yes you’re overreacting. It’s his hair, not his dick.

Yup, this. Maybe ask yourself why you are so insecure?

DarkShade · 24/07/2022 20:10

Did he cook her an expensive steak and watch her eat it in silence? If not, all normal.

You are massively over reacting. My friends and I cut each others hair often, it would never occur to me I couldn't cut one of their boyfriends hair if they were there at the time.

M340 · 24/07/2022 20:23

Jesus Christ this cannot be real 😂😂😂😂😂

You sound more of a 'pick me' girl if your husband has to pick YOU to cut his hair wipe his arse pair his socks or whatever other bizarre things you think you must control.

GoT1904 · 24/07/2022 20:25

Ttcjourney2022 · 24/07/2022 17:08

If it helps…he was probably thinking of you the whole time when she was doing it to him.

👀

😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂

LoisPlane · 24/07/2022 20:28

Unless 'hair cut' is a new euphemism for blow job, I don't see a problem.

Thefriendlymoth · 24/07/2022 20:32

In the kindest way, you are overreacting . ☺️

it’s a buzz cut, it’s not a very sensual act, it’s a bit weird if she just randomly offered, but I wouldn’t think much of it. was she doing his brothers hair as well?

TooBigForMyBoots · 24/07/2022 20:37

Itsnotwhatitlookslike · 24/07/2022 17:20

He asked a HCP to relieve him of a, presumably annoying/painful spot, whilst he was at an appointment and you think it was a huge issue? Confused

No he didn't. It wasn't a problem (I know, I'd been dealing with it for years) and it had nothing to do with the reason he was there. He actually told her that I dealt with it.

But, once she clapped eyes on that beauty, Little Nursey Sporny Mitts had to have it. And he let her.😡

ImShrunk · 24/07/2022 20:47

Just wow

PinkButtercups · 24/07/2022 20:52

You're over reacting. If you think she thinks you're a bad wife because she cut his hair and you didn't then I must be terrible. DP goes to the barbers. I couldn't care less if it was a man or woman 🤣

lastminutedotcom22 · 24/07/2022 20:52

TheCrowening · 24/07/2022 16:05

Yes you’re overreacting. It’s his hair, not his dick.

🤪

UmbrellaSparrow · 24/07/2022 20:53

She cut his hair, not trimmed his pubes. Good grief, get a grip woman.

GreenOrangeRed · 24/07/2022 21:07

Why don’t you draw up an approved list of people from whom your DH can accept a hair cut? You, obviously. Trained barbers and hairdressers. Nuns.
