I have ploughman’s sandwich, steak McCoys and a sprite (Tesco)

I have just discovered Tescos smoked ham & egg sandwich ( sliced egg rather than egg mayo) & it’s absolutely delicious & so well filled, which some bought sandwiches aren’t. Usually have Walkers ready salted crisps & a Coppella or similar apple juice.

@MsFernBotanical

I don't do meal deals, I think they're a ploy to make people buy more food!

If I do have to buy a sandwich I just buy a sandwich and a loose apple from the fruit and veg section. Tap water in my water bottle.

There's always one...

For me it's Prawn Mayo, walkers max paprika and Pepsi max

SanFranBear · 13/03/2022 20:45

Way back when Boots deals were incredible... chicken and bacon sub with the most sublime tomato relish, Max salt & vinegar crisps which made me sweat and Boysenberry water. The sub was about 20p less than the deal and it was amazing!

Nowadays, the falafel wrap, bbq hula hoops and a lemon & lime water from Tescos does the job!

Drenda · 13/03/2022 20:48

None now as have to not eat gluten, but it used to be at tesco's, the cheese triple sandwich option, salt and vinegar McCoy's (then put them into the sandwich) and a lucozade or monster.

CheapFoodShits · 13/03/2022 20:54

Prawn mayo sandwich, Sea Salted Proper Corn or Kettle Chips and a Raspberry Pepsi Max.

Theblackdogagain · 13/03/2022 20:57

Morrisons by choice, salad pot, pecan tart and an expensive smoothie or cold coffee. Dt love meal deals so we tend to get them when we're out as a family.

takealettermsjones · 13/03/2022 20:59

Bean and cheese wrap, ready salted walkers baked, and chilled coffee.

edufood · 13/03/2022 21:04

Tescos chicken club sandwich, steak mccoys and a 475ml sugar free red bull. It's a mammoth meal that I try not to have too often.

Pbbananabagel · 13/03/2022 21:05

Sainsburys- bacon and ketchup sandwich (I hate mayo, this is the only place that does a sandwich I’ll eat), walkers cheese and onion crisps and a green machine smoothie

Elbie79 · 13/03/2022 21:09

@PukkaP

Spicy bean and cheese wrap, cheese and onion crisps, Ribena light. Tesco
This sounds lovely!
indigoemerald · 13/03/2022 21:11

Boots:

Pesto pasta or a cheese and bean wrap
Brownie, mango pot or a small tub of red Pringles (depending on how I’m feeling)
Naked smoothie

Jenjen26 · 13/03/2022 21:13

Cheese and onion sandwich, salt and vinegar McCoy's and a orange fanta

Sorrynotsorry2 · 13/03/2022 21:15

Chicken and sweetcorn sandwich, walkers salt and vinegar crisps and a diet coke.

Tesco.

AuntFlorence · 13/03/2022 21:16

Egg mayo sandwich, fruit pot, Coke Zero.
Or Sushi, fruit and baby bel thing, Coke Zero.
Sometimes I'll have a flavoured water instead, or a hot peperami.

Anonymous42178 · 13/03/2022 21:17

Tesco chicken salad butty, walkers prawn cocktail and pepsi max cherry

AuntFlorence · 13/03/2022 21:18

If I'm in M&S it's either an avocado and chicken sandwich, or a hoisin duck wrap, with prawns with Marie rose dip or green apple with peanut butter dip and a still Sicilian lemonade or one of their green juices I think it's lime apple and cucumber or something

20viona · 13/03/2022 21:19

Tomato and feta pasta, red bull and paprika max crisps from tesco, a bloody £3 bargain.

BritishDesiGirl · 13/03/2022 21:20

Morrisons deli counter salad, lucozade orange and something cakey.

Bournetilly · 13/03/2022 21:21

Tesco- one of the sub rolls (different one each time), beef hula hoops, Pepsi max or an iced mocha

Fizbosshoes · 13/03/2022 21:21

Am I the only tight arse who chooses the 3 most expensive things they have that day??

🤣 my DH used to do that. He was flexible about the sandwich but always chose vegetable crisps (because they were the most expensive) and either coconut water and a smoothie.

I vary my sandwich but used to have a kit kat and a diet coke with it. I've given up chocolate for lent which means it's harder to choose a snack. The other day I already had a drink and a snack, I only wanted a sandwich...but I couldn't bring myself to pay £2.75 for a sandwich when I could get a meal deal for £3.50 so I got a drink and snack for another day. I don't get a meal deal every day, I try to take my own lunch at least twice a week (and wfh 1 day a week)

Goldenbunny · 13/03/2022 21:22

Sainsburys
Southern fried chicken wrap
Satay chicken skew things
Bottle water

Tesco
Southern fried chicken pasta
Fridge raiders
Lucozade original

Marvel23 · 13/03/2022 21:22

Tesco - chicken and bacon caesar salad, peach ice tea and a packet of malteasers

20viona · 13/03/2022 21:23

I'm Enjoying this thread too much haha.

Prinnny · 13/03/2022 21:23

@Grasping

Vegan wrap Innocent Smoothie Eat Natural Bar

I don’t eat them all. It does me lunch for 2 days

Course it does, how on earth could someone eat a wrap, a bar and a smoothie in one whole day Grin
