Just tried the 'new offers' on Waitrose. You have download the offers at home but then scan to scan a QR code at the til point and click into a coupon for every offer. Surely they could put the offers directly into your Waitrose Card like M&S Sparks Card does?
Given John Lewis is on a downward track - surely making shopping difficult at Waitrose won't help keep customers. Anybody else found this as unnecessarily complicated?

There is a separate newspaper voucher section in My Waitrose.

Not in mine.

I do not even bother looking at the vouchers now.
completely pointless and more effort than sparks or coop cards I use.

Glad I’m not the only one with these random offers! Last week’s offers were awful and didn’t tempt me to buy anything I wouldn’t usually buy! Every other offer was excellent (especially the £1 off fruit & £3 off Charlie Bingham!) let’s hope tomorrow’s offers are better

Not only you. There are technical issues with the vouchers which is affecting all customers. Apparently this was caused by them trying to revert to the regular vouchers based on regular spends from the randomly issued vouchers last week. Which I'm guessing were not popular. 🌹

I think Waitrose is not what is was anymore generally, same with John Lewis. Our local one has quite a limited range compared to the one near to my husband's parents (London) that has counters ect. We use a mixture of Sainsbury for deliveries of freezer, soft and alcoholic drinks, tins and loo roll every few months, Aldi for store cupboard stuff and the local market for veg (veggie house). I love a Booths trip, if up north visiting my parents though!

I do have 7 newspaper vouchers for the next 7 days though

The randomly picked vouchers last week were awful, I didn't chose any of them. I would've been fairly OK with a random mix for a change, but why on earth did they reduce the variety too? I was offered 2 lots of bottled guacomole and 2 types of beef lasagne! 🤔I've not bought either before and am very unlikely to. Now, because of the technical issue, I don't even have this week's vouchers and I could do with some cheese (which I always have a voucher for) 🙄

The newspapers are free on a delivery after 3pm.
The vouchers are pretty random and daffy 🙄

i agree too much hassle, you can only choose two coupons, the ones .I have been offered recently have been dreadful, and don’t reflect on my usual purchases.

Last week's vouchers were for things I had no interest in buying (50p off a disposable cake stand!) and this week I didn't get any at all. When I went in to the actual shop they had hardly any fruit or vegetables. Supply issues apparently.

Thanks I've just placed my order with my two (why can't it be three or more?) vouchers which were relevant to my regular shopping list. Even grabbed an earlier delivery slot! 🌹

there was a huge fire at one of their distribution centres last week, so could be that.

Mine too - but yes, the savings are approximately halved. Eg loo roll (which I need) - usually £2.50 off, now £1.50 off. 50p off things that were normally £1 off. Better than nothing I suppose.

Perhaps they should follow Iceland's '60+ 10% off Tuesday' where you just tell the checkout staff before they put your purchases though and they don't even necessarily check your ID if you look the part, 😳

I finally got my vouchers too now. Really good this week albeit the vouchers are smaller in price. Just wish they’d let you use more vouchers instead of 2.
