Mine’s taking a day of annual leave from work. Getting on the train and doing my normal commute to work in the city. But then checking into a hotel, getting in my pjs, watch telly all day, order room service and sleep. Then get dressed at the end of the day and do my commute home. No one would know. 🤣 What’s yours?

Going out of the house at 2am and walking round my local area just to see how it feels all quiet at night with the moon out.

Sparklingbrook · 25/02/2022 09:04

Bit the same as yours but instead of the train I'd be flying to California, so might take a bit longer to come back, and I'd have some explaining to do. Grin

Aroundtheworldin80moves · 25/02/2022 09:07

Leaving the kids with DH and doing one if those things like a round the world yacht race.

ABCeasyasdohrayme · 25/02/2022 09:08

Winning the lotto, buying the houses either side of my ex husband and letting them out very cheaply to the loudest most obnoxious awful people I can find.

You and I are very different people op 🤣

TatianaBis · 25/02/2022 09:10

Buying a period chalet in Switzerland and living in the snow over the winter.

Comedycook · 25/02/2022 09:12

To write a message on the class parents whatsapp group telling them what a cliquey, vile, obnoxious bunch they really are.

BloodyBaffled · 25/02/2022 09:14

Just stay in bed , being brought tea at regular intervals. Bliss. Never gonna happen!

MayBeeMee · 25/02/2022 09:14

Buying a round the world plane ticket and booking 2 years off work.

Crepusculum · 25/02/2022 09:15

Buying a secret house (whilst keeping this one) 20-45 mins away, that only DH and [almost adult] DC know about - so we can regularly claim to be on holiday rather than be at the beck and call of certain family members.

IWannaGoToTheSpa · 25/02/2022 09:16

I am loving all of these!!! @ABCeasyasdohrayme maybe not that different… this has just become my new fantasy to do to my in-laws mwahahaha

I'd quite like to send DS's primary school teacher who was awful to him for 2 years (and completely knocked his confidence taking a very long time to recover from) a picture of him in his cap and gown holding his Masters certificate.

squashyhat · 25/02/2022 09:22

Disappear. Leave home, family, responsibilities and go off grid.

MintyGreenDream · 25/02/2022 09:22

Going to a 5 star all inclusive hotel with spa all by myself

SeedsSeedsSeeds · 25/02/2022 09:26

Jack in work, buy a camper van and travel the world. Seems extremely unlikely given that homeschooling was a disaster for covid and half the world is invading each other or locking down.

notacooldad · 25/02/2022 09:34

Some of these dont have to be impossible dreams. Why not book a hotel room? Why not go out and enjoy the quiet? Why not have a one of 5* spa day?
Admittedly the WhatsApp message isnt a great idea and it's hard to win the lotto!

IWannaGoToTheSpa · 25/02/2022 09:37

These are awesome. The revenge ones or telling people exactly what you think of them are brilliant. Wouldn’t you just love for once to say what you really think even though it would cause WW3. And the just taking off leaving all responsibilities behind for a day or a year are dreamy…

Meeting Lenny Kravitz in a random encounter and just running off with him to his ranch in Brazil and never leaving or answering the phone ever again.......

Babdoc · 25/02/2022 09:44

Mine is a Christmas one. For six weeks each year, I fantasise about going round to my neighbours house, ripping down all the hideous, randomly flashing chaser lights that cover their entire front and back gardens and drive me crazy (I’m autistic, with sensory overload issues) and then axe murdering the entire family.
So far, I have managed to resist. So far… Grin

I'd love to coldly and calmly tell off a woman - met her twice in passing over last few years.
I was hit by a car in June and on the local Facebook group 2 people said they'd see the accident. She said 'she's in hospital and will be fine'😡
This was when I was still having my entire body scanned. I was millimetres away from leg paralysis and perforated bowel. She knew nothing of me.

No witnesses were willing to give a statement for court. The man was not looking and drove into me standing next to my car door on a wide road (looked like he was going to drive into back of my car was last thing I thought before finding myself in the road)

I ponder that if the witnesses thought I was ok (rather than in hospital for a month and off work for 8 months and still not completely recovered) they didn't think the statement was important or justified

Molehillfromamountain · 25/02/2022 09:54

Buying a little house, decorating it to my taste with a beautiful craft space, space for my baking things and no giant tv, games consoles or garish plastic toys. I'd sneak off to visit to decompress from my actual life which has none of those thingsGrin

Userdeniedit99 · 25/02/2022 09:55

Where do I start, there are so many ....

Telling friend she is so very selfish (but I still want to be friends with her if only she can stop being so fucking selfish and self-centred)
Go off grid, delete social media/phone number/email address and move abroad
Telling someone how much I fucking hate them, the real truth about a particular work issue and enjoy having the last word
Flying the family first class
Go somewhere like the Maldives and stay in one of the water huts
Having friends with children the same age and all going on holiday together, BBQs etc
Buying a new car
Paying off my debt

Do it ! I know someone who did this when her daughter qualified as a Dr.
hangrylady · 25/02/2022 09:57

Going for a country walk at 4/5am to see the animals that are hiding/sleeping in the day. I'm just not enough of an early bird.

I have thought about it many times. I saw the teacher at the shops a couple of weeks ago. Didn't have the nerve to go over but would have loved to. She just gave up on him. This was about 17 years ago, maybe I should be letting it go. Grin

Why can't you do that?
