To ask you to show me your gorgeous fancy houses?

There was a thread recently asking people to brag about their wonderful kids, it was really sweet!

It got me thinking, what about the homes we love and are super proud of? If you're anything like me your home is your castle and safe haven, and I just KNOW there are people here with ridiculously gorgeous spaces in their homes! (Self confessed house porn addict, love looking online at the new listings locally 🤣)

Soooo show me your fabulous houses, or even just little parts of them you absolutely love, brag about your achievements and hard earned beautiful homes ❤️

Theres no way i would show anyone my house online. I will never put a picture up with house in the background on fb either.

I had a school mum come round once when our kids were really friendly and she never spoke to me again once she had been.

Oh my god 🤣 what, why? Was she insanely jealous or something? How bizarre.

I've seen loads of posts over the years of people sharing their gorgeous homes, I love the inspo!

What makes you think she never contacted you again because of your house? I'm intrigued!

Oooh yes a reading nook or library id love to see that!

Maybe I should have posted in the DIY bit? I honestly see so many posts about this sort of thing, but usually under a title like "show me your beautiful kitchen" or the like!

Maybe no one will share, that's fair enough 🤣

I'm here eagerly waiting to see inside lovely houses. I love looking at what people have done with rooms that they are actually living in as opposed to the ones that have been curated for eg Instagram or Pinterest.

Oh I'd love a good boast on here, seeing inside peoples huge mansions 🤣 especially with how house prices have gone bonkers lately, I've resigned to just looking at how other people live in those types of places because we have been seriously priced out!

There's parts of my small house I absolutely love but I don't think anyone else would be very impressed as I think most people would think it was normal and think I'm nuts for seeing it as very nice.
A few years ago I lived somewhere I hated and the house was horrible and in need of repair and I was embarrassed to let anyone in so I'm very proud of my abode now.

And then proceeded to say that she was renting and they couldnt afford to buy.

I thought we got on really well and really hoped we could be friends but she never spoke to me after that.

Or maybe she just wasnt keen on me, but she had been fine with me for awhile at school before she came round so something obviously changed those few hours at mine.

OK, I can’t crop out ALL the mess, and it’s not ~fancy, but it was bloody hard work to get it from bed bugs, cigarette scent, Artex and a window that leaked every time a cloud went by to this point. And I do love the colour of the fireplace.

I've got one of those but it only goes to a lav. It's also really heavy because it's made of shelves with books on and has to have a little wheel to manoeuvre it out. It's pretentious rubbish really but kids love it.
