There was a thread recently asking people to brag about their wonderful kids, it was really sweet!

It got me thinking, what about the homes we love and are super proud of? If you're anything like me your home is your castle and safe haven, and I just KNOW there are people here with ridiculously gorgeous spaces in their homes! (Self confessed house porn addict, love looking online at the new listings locally 🤣)

Soooo show me your fabulous houses, or even just little parts of them you absolutely love, brag about your achievements and hard earned beautiful homes ❤️

I would show you my dressing room. But people hate grey. So they would absolutely tear it apart! I don't like silver greys but this is like grey grey! But still!

@ivfbabymomma1 I’m all for grey-grey. One of my favourite houses is Swallows & Damsons which I saw on Design Sponge – lots of inky and subdued greys and wood, it’s lovely. Show us!

I recommend you all move up to the north east of Scotland. Look at this! I’ve been eyeing it up this afternoon.

We are in the process of making our home lovely, it's currently at the "can't make an omelette without breaking eggs" stage!

I also get to go in lots of lovely (and some not so lovely) homes as part of my job. It's hard to remain professional as I'm eyeing up the reading book, the aga or the rustic kitchen with envy.

Ok, only fair! It's nothing fancy I'm afraid, but my makeshift reading nook is cosy and comfy in an evening, and I love the natural light through the big window in summer, it's a makeshift sunbathing sofa... makes me sound like a cat 🤣 my two tiny "mum" areas when the kids are driving me demented.

Not fancy but some of my fave bits. It's an apartment and I've done a lot to make it "mine" from when it was a new build

We’ve got a library, it’s the second small reception room which we’ve filled with billy bookcases (thank you ikea and father in law who gave DH several book cases for his birthday), and during the pandemic we put two desks in for me and DD to have a work space.

When I grow up I want a beauty and the beast style library.

One of my old managers had a house stuffed with books, everywhere was lined with bookshelves and she had piles of books randomly piled around the house. She lived in an old house in highgrove was absolutely stunning.

It's a fab chair, I have a friend who has just redone her whole house in mid-century 1950s chic and it's absolute goals!

I love sitting out on our second story deck and having a coffee as I look out over the woods. The cats love it out there too if the weather is nice.

I'm scared 😂😂😂 it's my little sanctuary and people will hate it! It's actually a little extension of the main bedroom, we had a little box room but a bed would barely fit so we knocked through the wall it's like a L shape.

I do NOT have a fancy house, I have a small appartment! But one of the things that blew my mind when I moved to Switzerland is that most appartment building have a nuclear bunker in the basement. It was a legal requirement since 1963.
So here OP, is a photo of the door to my nuclear bunker

Theres no way i would show anyone my house online. I will never put a picture up with house in the background on fb either.

I had a school mum come round once when our kids were really friendly and she never spoke to me again once she had been.
