There was a thread recently asking people to brag about their wonderful kids, it was really sweet!

It got me thinking, what about the homes we love and are super proud of? If you're anything like me your home is your castle and safe haven, and I just KNOW there are people here with ridiculously gorgeous spaces in their homes! (Self confessed house porn addict, love looking online at the new listings locally 🤣)

Soooo show me your fabulous houses, or even just little parts of them you absolutely love, brag about your achievements and hard earned beautiful homes ❤️

Well our house is far from impressive and well overdue a deep clean but we've got a room that almost no-one else has and will be jealous of, which is a foster kitten nursery and rehabilitation spa for their mums.

And no, you're not seeing it because they make more mess than you could ever imagine.

But here is one of the kittens lazing on cat hair encrusted trousers.

Oh, you only have ONE kitten spa? I have two, and a puppy boutique, just down the hall from my shell grotto and giant panda salon, which opens out onto the private lake where the white peacocks can show off their magnificent plumage.

That is almost identical to my house from the outside though I have a front wall half way across the end of the drive. Inside it is different and I have a downstairs loo. The back garden is much the same. A very good match.

I think the OP was interested in how people have decorated/designed their own houses and what they like about them.

Lovely garden, Salsa, and I love a black cat. I've had two and they were both real characters.

@PaddleBoardingMomma it's apart of my bedroom, we knocked a wall down between our bedroom & a box room. So for that reason I use it everyday but I can't imagine I'd use it it it was a whole separate room!

You are wrong!, I really don’t care what size someone else’s house is or if it’s owned or rented, what I am very interested in is how it has been decorated as I love interior design, in fact I am more impressed with people who have made attractive living space out of a one bedroom flat or similar, it’s easy to make a big place, particularly if it has character features, look great, it’s much harder in a smaller place especially if it lacks features to look good, it takes a really good eye and I admire that.

My house isn’t amazing, it’s a council house but if I posted photos of my dodgy decor it would probably out me.

And a few others. It’s not a fancy house but we love it and our DCat is a gorgeous soft furnishing. 😍

We don't have a hidden doorway to a library, but we do have a door to the study that everyone assumes is a cupboard. It's a converted garage so quite a big room.

Thank you. That's my bedroom with the filmy floor length curtains (H&M £17.99 per pair) I bought two pairs because I don't like heavy curtains and they're washed and dried in a couple of hours. They're a linen mix
Yes all after midday in the sitting room and bedrooms and kitchen, utility + bathroom in morning. Courtyard gets half and half.
