One of the dads in ds' class at school watches my stories on social media every day. We are reasonably friendly but for me anyway its only in a platonic way (we are both married). I'm just not sure if it's a bit odd or if I'm overthinking it? He must know I know he's watched them but he carries on anyway every single day

Why post stories on social media if you don’t want people looking at them?

Is your profile public? Or are you friends with him on it? If friends, then no - not strange at all.

If he's a friend on social media then entirely normal, bit weird if not, go private if it bothers you.

Make your profile private/friends only then.

Unless he's commenting inappropriately then he is using social media as it is intended.

Well, when you put things on social media you are putting there for people to watch surely? It probably just pops up on his timeline, why would it be inappropriate? Unless of course it's Onlyfans and/or he's leaving pervy comments...

You don’t have to actively click on someone’s story, the next in line will just auto play as it goes through your follows. If you aren’t interested people usually just fast forward through them so don’t even watch necessarily but it comes up as ‘viewed’.

Whys it odd? And why put stories up if you don’t want people to watch them? You are overthinking it.

Is this guy a friend on social media? So you approved his request to see what you put on social media then think its weird he watches what you put on social media!!!!

When I watch people's stories it goes from one person to the next so I might just have meant to watch one person's but once it's over I then see the next person's if that makes sense.

But yes, you're obviously amazing and he definitely fancies you...that's what you want us to say don't you?

Are you friends, if so it's normal. If not then a little strange but maybe send him a friend request? Nothing inappropriate about it, he's simply using social media as it's intended.

Does he follow you? It's only weird if he doesn't follow you. Otherwise, if you post stories everyday, people are going to watch them.

If you are friends on Instagram then not strange at all! It's hard to skip a story if you are watching your feed....

I like Insta and Facebook as much as the next (admittedly) middle aged person, but I have to ask, what’s a story and why would one watch such an event?

I literally just click through stories out of boredom and watch everyone's. I don't go hunting a specific persons. Unless there is more to this you are being unreasonable

I also find it kinda strange you click on to see who all is viewing your stories anytime you put them up

I am not specifically picking peoples to watch. It's highly likey he is doing the same.

Also, not sure how him looking at something you publicly post for people to watch is Inappropriate anyway
