Boris’s baby daughter had Covid

I just think that’s very convenient is it all made up to garner sympathy. Can’t trust anything that’s said in regard to BoJo !

OP posts:

So the poor baby's idiotic parents spent their time partying, picking up goodness knows what germs, and pass them on to her.

Even if Johnson doesn't care about the general public you might have hoped that he would take a bit more care round a small baby.

LemonTreeGrove · 20/01/2022 00:30

She's on the mend now according to the mail anyway

canbage · 20/01/2022 00:32

well avoiding parties might have helped

Peregrina · 20/01/2022 00:35

I imagine that the Mail's headlines about this are to try and win him the sympathy vote. My own feeling was Bl**dy Fool, risking the health of a small baby.

belowaverage · 20/01/2022 00:37

Poor kid hope she gets better soon. As for getting rid of Boris, be careful what you wish for... rather have the devil than his brother.

lemmein · 20/01/2022 00:37

Honestly, I'm so fucking sick of the lies and games with this government - STOP LYING ffs!

Even if his baby did have covid she's clearly fine so the only reason for the headline is to distract. Sick to death of them treating everybody like idiots. Appalling man with zero morals - but, as the saying goes 'when a man shows you who is he...' - the public voted for him knowing exactly what he was 🤷🏻‍♀️

baroqueandblue · 20/01/2022 00:38

Maybe that’s why the Press went a bit quiet during that period.

Unlikely they knew, it would've got out somehow before now. Seems extremely convenient that he got that drubbing at PMQs on Wednesday 12th and that night it was reported he was isolating due to being in contact with a family member with positive COVID test. And then tonight, after completely showing himself up yesterday and no mercy at PMQs today, suddenly we're expected to believe it was his baby that had it?! And if we dare to question that timely sympathy plea, we're as morally repugnant as him?

Please 🥺

jamandmarmaladethesecondcoming · 20/01/2022 00:38

i do not believe that this is true....

True! So depressing that he can only be replaced with another tory.
Nanny0gg · 20/01/2022 00:44

@Fupoffyagrasshole

Even if she does - big deal - everyone had bloody covid at this stage - 🤦‍♀️
That's a pretty vile thing to say about a newborn.

You wouldn't have been worried if she was yours?

Yes this.
Tealightsandd · 20/01/2022 00:46

A decent replacement would be worth celebrating.

Rishi Silent But Deadly Twelve Homes Sunak? No.

lemmein · 20/01/2022 00:48

Prime Minister Priti? 😖

Rockbird · 20/01/2022 00:51

Bollocks did she.

But in the event that he's not lying for once and she did have Covid then I wish the little sweetheart better and hope she's truly on the mend.

GrandTheftWalrus · 20/01/2022 00:54

Where is this being reported?

He lies about everything. Funny how baby was born when he was first under scrutiny.

I think that Boris Johnson will go anytime soon. They are preparing the way for Rishi Sunak to take over.
Wouldn’t be surprised if Cummings is probably working with others to replace Johnson with Rishi Sunak
This week Sunak has gone to great lengths to show ( in a subtle way) that he does not support the actions of Johnson.
Definitely think that Sunak covets the PM job .
They are all so bloody awful and dishonest. I despair tbh

kittensinthekitchen · 20/01/2022 01:51

He has spent the past 2 years telling us that OUR children are not at harm from covid.

Yet now claims his daughter was very ill.

He's spent two years telling us mostly the old and disabled are vulnerable to covid.

Yet he was very ill himself.

He is a bare faced liar and not a word out of his mouth can be trusted.

SurfWaves · 20/01/2022 01:52

@SlyAvocado

Did she aye.
🤣🤣🤣
Lampzade · 20/01/2022 01:55

The fact that we even have to ask if Johnson is lying about his daughter’s COVID diagnosis shows what a snivelling, lying rat of a man Boris Johnson is.
His reputation for being dishonest precedes him

GrandTheftWalrus · 20/01/2022 01:58

There is nothing on BBC news. I dunno about other news outlets

SlidingInto2022sDMs · 20/01/2022 01:58

I don't billivvit!

Tealightsandd · 20/01/2022 02:07

Boris has at least one underlying condition that we know of. He's overweight.

MeanderingGently · 20/01/2022 02:20

I find the nastiness on this thread quite shocking. OK, so some people don't like Boris but the fact that his baby daughter has been quite ill with COVID deserves sympathy.

I hate the constant griping and moaning over the PM, the media have conducted a despicable campaign against him. I have generally kept off the threads asking whether anyone would vote for him again, as I don't want to be accused of being 'goady', but quite honestly, enough is enough.

There are some people who still support him, and believe he generally has done his best despite some mistakes....I am one of them. Everyone has their own opinion, but to hear the accusations and name-calling regarding a time which must have been difficult for the family, is bloody dreadful.
