Ghislaine Maxwell has been found guilty of grooming young girls for Jeffrey Epstein. Whilst she absolutely was guilty of aiding the abuse of these girls, shouldn’t there now be investigations into the high profile men who were clearly involved in the abuse? Clinton and Trump, as well as a Prince Andrew were clearly very close to Epstein, and there have been rumours of many other famous people being around at the time. I actually think Epstein’s death was suspect, and I wouldn’t be surprised if his death had been staged to protect some high profile men from being exposed. Maxwell has definitely taken the fall for a lot of people who should have been in the dock with her.

With Epstine dead she's the top of the pyramid. She coordinated so much of it all, she is the person who can connect everyone involved. With her found guilty it's hopefully going to give a base to start bringing more charges against all the men involved.

She was involved in the sexual abuse of minors and needs to rot in jail.

She was the friendly face of sex trafficking. If JE had been trawling schools, trailer parks and malls and offering vulonerable girls as young as 14 the chance to become a model/actress/masseuse, they would've run a mile.
She was acceptable to them and they listened to her, she befriended them, took them shopping, bought them clothes, she groomed them and handed them on a plate to the pervert, her boyfriend.

Thank god there is a guilty on 5 of 6 counts for her. Let's move on to the rest now.

Doesn’t it strike any of you as odd that a cabal of powerful men abused these poor girls - facilitated by GM - but it is only GM is in a cell? My point is not that she shouldn’t be charged but they should be too.

Well it wasn't ONLY GM in a cell. The main abuser, Jeffrey Goldstein, had already been locked up and killed himself in prison.

Obviously not defending her but seems to be the nearest woman who is “staff” who carries the can for the greater crimes committed by more senior men - see also Allegra Stratton 🙄

No no no, she actively participated in the abuse on girls she’s lured away. She’s not some passive bystander.

Because a case requires evidence that can actually be used in court and is sufficient to charge someone. Complex cases can take years to build, it isn’t a case of done and dusted in a few months.

It really is that simple.

For their to be a trial of the others then their needs to be completely unarguable evidence. She is the best one to provide that.

But either way however people try to play down her roll she was the top of the chain with Epstein. She was the one who did the grooming. She took part in the abuse. She deserves everything she gets and I am sure those throwing around words like scapegoat wouldn’t be if she was Male.

One can argue which is worse - being the abuser or being the recruiter but frankly the whole matter is just beyond my comprehension.

She also took part in the abuse.

Of course they were if they were raping and abusing them, but do you really expect a trial without or even a charge without sufficient evidence?

There needs to be evidence. A few photos or logs that they shared a plane is not enough. Perhaps there is more evidence, I don’t know.
Did any of the women or witnesses who gave evidence name other perpetrators? Not at the trial of GM, as the alleged abusers cannot not defend themselves but maybe to the authorities - we will see what comes next.

If sufficient evidence is brought against them then yes they should be. We don't know what the authorities currently have or what stage of investigation they are at. What Maxwell says now will be of huge significance.

I doubt you'll find any disagreement there. But Maxwell deserves all that's coming to her.

I honestly believe she was the mastermind. Taught by her father, get men drunk, offer them underage girls. Take pictures, and you own them. I think she did the same to Epstein to an extent. When you have evidence that could ruin someone's life they'll give you anything you want.

VG comes across as a woman who’s relishing the fight, to put it tactfully. There’s no reason why she shouldn’t, but it doesn’t play well.
