Love these threads and I am a nosy cow!

I'll start. Despite the very rainy day, it has been a Busy morning of ferrying kids to activities, then home to wash school uniforms and make dinner which I have now done.

DH doing some work on his laptop in the bedroom, kids x2 on enforced mini nap due to business of this morning

I will now take a quick shower then relax in front of TV-prob Netflix, whilst I research secondary schools for eldest.

Been piddling it down outside all day today, feeling very autumnal so we have toad in the hole and apple pie in the oven so we can have a big stodgy warming dinner.

Back from a birthday party, need to clean out the guinea pig hutch and make dinner. All excitement here.

DP is making dinner, both ds's are asking xbox and I'm sitting in the car with baby dd because she fell asleep on the way to pick dp and ds up from football. Thank god for MN 🤣

Been to costco, found homes for it all, sort of. Dh is making dinner. Dd is chilling in her room. Im deciding wether to wine or not.

Been piddling down all day. DD was at her dads last night so I had a quiet coffee in bed this morning before walking the dog and putting on laundry and dishwasher. Picked up DD and her friend and too then swimming and McDs. Got home and DD did some computer whilst I walked dog again. We’ve done her homework and now we are watching TV in different rooms whilst dinner is cooking. Going to eat on the sofa with a film before bath time. DD is 10. Tea is tacos and rice is just cooking!

Chucking it down here , took ds8 to boxing , then swimming , and played monopoly. He is staying at his grandads tonight and the oldest is away too and we just can't decide whether to stay in and have a cosy night or go out for an Indian , the restaurant is literally just down the road and you take your own booze 🤔

Ironing and lots of Nintendo with a little bit of drawing and cartoons thrown in.

Been busy with DD today. Going to the post office and trying to find a form to change my name on my driving licence, shopping and wandering out smyths. She is now in her room watching you tubers talk shite as well and DH has gone to play his 2nd gig of the weekend- got one tomorrow as well.

Husband and youngest son watching the brighton/arsenal match on tv, daughter watching netflix and eldest on his xbox. I am making dinner and surprise surprise on mumsnet:-)

Oh and I've got a massive pile of dishes waiting for me, a bed needing made that I'm regretting stripping this morning, a load of washing to hang up, hoovering to do, washing to put away and should really bath dd. DP is nightshift tonight so he will be sleeping.

I am cooking about six varieties of meals to freezer as am fed up of beige meals of trays because I'm too tired to cook in the week. My oldest is helping so actually it's working quite well.

We have the curtains shut, music on, DH is reading and I’m knitting and browsing. It’s very cosy.

Horrible and wet here. Spent most of the day cleaning but I'm now lay on the bed with my book and my cat 😸

Stormy here. Morning ferrying kids to clubs, quick lunch, trip to launderette, ten tonne of ironing. Now chilling watching a film. Takeaway for dinner! Just wondering what to drink....

We're having dinner in front of the tv as its Saturday baby ds is a bit whingy but is munching on a plum now. 5yo ds has finished his dinner already and is zoned out watching monsters at work.
In an hour it will be baths & beds then dh and I will hopefully find a short film to watch.

having (multiple) people in the house tomorrow for the first time in over 18 months means that most of today has been about tidying and cleaning but i've now had a drink and abandoned all care... will sort the rest in the morning!!

made myself a waitrose-food-magazine "twist on a moscow mule" which was v pleasant and has got me wasted v quickly so DH is making dinner and hopefully that will sober me back up a bit!

I'm teaching my daughter how to crochet. Dp is out at the shops. We have Friday Night Dinner on TV. Dog is asleep.

My eldest is in his room lying down cos he has a bad cold and he's feeling grotty.
My youngest is in his room playing on some game.
My husband is downstairs making chapattis
I am upstairs eating chapattis having swiped a couple while he was frying up a pile.

Lying on my bed reading mn, putting off getting dressed for a comedy gig tonight.

Cosy here too. Have had a hot bath and now relaxing with a glass of wine and looking forward to Strictly. DH watching footy, DS in his room, DD watching TV. Beef stew in the slow cooker. All is well
