Love these threads and I am a nosy cow!

I'll start. Despite the very rainy day, it has been a Busy morning of ferrying kids to activities, then home to wash school uniforms and make dinner which I have now done.

DH doing some work on his laptop in the bedroom, kids x2 on enforced mini nap due to business of this morning

I will now take a quick shower then relax in front of TV-prob Netflix, whilst I research secondary schools for eldest.

What about you........

Rain is coming through the roof that has been fixed twice. I am trying to not catastrophise whilst rearranging buckets.

Making soda bread and watching rugby.

DCs are watching a film after a busy day of football and birthday party. DH is asleep on the sofa. I'm cooking supper and MNing

In the bath with a hot compress on my swollen boob that DS bit today 🙄 DH giving DS his dinner, we’ve spent all day trying and failing to entertain him. I’m dreading winter whilst on mat leave!

It's rained all day so we walked the dogs this morning to get it out of the way. 11 year old and her friend (who'd slept over last night) weren't impressed with getting sodden, but soon perked up when we bumped into more friends in the park. 2 year old had been dying to wear his new wellies and loved the puddles.

Picked up snacks while we errr out and came home to a toasty house, charged straight back into pjs! Had a chilled out afternoon watching Disney+ currently watching Coco for the tenth time.

Takeaway tonight, probably Pizza Hut but it's up for debate.

DH & I are catching up on our business paperwork and DS is drawing graphs for A level Economics.

Work this morning, now on sofa after shopping reading 2 Christmas mags, fire lit, small lights on it already dusky, thinking about moving to get a nice G&T.

Then need to order a jumper I have at last found the style I want...but oh look have also dropped a pair of camel wide leg trousers in my basket somehow......

My eldest were at their fathers this weekend so it was me, partner and our two little ones. DDs ballet class was cancelled this morning and the weather is pants so we did some baking at home. We made homemade bread and I made a chicken stew for tea.

We took the little ones to visit their grandparents for an hour then booked swimming and soft play for tomorrow because the weather is due to be bad then too.

DH is beginning baths and bedtime now and I’m just off to work.

Went for a run this morning then walked the dog. DD10 just finishing up making us dinner using Gousto recipe.

Now youngest playing FIFA. DH on couch watching a shit Mark Wahlberg movie (in between helping DD make dinner). Me being nosy on Zoopla.

DH and I both have The Cold so have been taking it easy. He too is watching the Brighton-Arsenal game on a tablet. He must be properly poorly as he's got a season ticket and would normally be down there. Looking at the weather he made the right decision.

I've just got out of a hot bath hoping it might loosen up my chest a bit.

Will stick something from the freezer into the oven for an early dinner in time for Strictly.

Then probably back to bed.

Went to farmer's market, bought doughnuts, and apples to make a pie later. Ate a doughnut for breakfast.

Currently clearing crap out of basement storage to bring to thrift store and clearing crap on back porch to make room for some stuff from the basement.

Later - hoover, clean bathtub, mop all floors, dig out cat litter box.

Also, make dinner. Empty dishwasher, fill up and run again. Plus two loads of laundry.

Very wet and windy here, log burner on, watching a movie with the kids, takeaway on its way

DH took DS out for lunch, bowling and a film at the cinema earlier. I took DD to drama club and shopping. Now we're watching the Simpsons and a bolognaise is bubbling in the slow cooker.

We are eating Tacos on the sofa. DS is not really enjoying them 🙄. Luckily DH is. I make a mean chilli and I’ve done guac and there’s lettuce, cheese, sour cream and jalapeños. They were delicious. Whatever DS says 🤣

Used the day to do some tidying up, now Watching an old episode of sewing bee with DD1 and waiting for our Thai takeaway to arrive, then we’ll watch strictly - DH ticketing in the garage and DD2 is going her own thing

Took dogs to a dog park in the pouring rain, dogs loved it. Came home had a snooze now making tea. Got a night shift tonight, be glad when i'm off for 2 weeks.

I'm in the US and where I am, it's overcast and grey but not cool, in the slightest. It's 84F/28C but the high humidity makes the "feels like" temperature 90F/32C. I've cranked up the a/c.

I started with cleaning the fridge and freezer and the pantry and making an inventory of available foods and making a list of what is needed. I've taken out all the cans and packets and a large assortment of spices and made a list of what I have and possible foods to make with them. I'm determined to empty the box of pastas/rice/dried beans/lentils I've had for what seems like a very long time and have them over the next two weeks. It's more challenging than it seems because there's a lot of it. I do have a small can of mandarin slices and I was thinking of making an almond, mandarin, spinach salad with feta and cranberries and a citrus vinaigrette dressing for a light lunch. That's made my grumbling of having to do housework seem worth it.

I'm now soaking dried chilies for enchiladas for dinner. I washed my hands four times and my hands still have residual chili because I rubbed my eye and I feel a sudden burning sensation. Ugh.

Apart from that, I'll be sitting on my backside making a deep crevice on the sofa and watching something on Apple TV for the rest of the day, especially as it's now raining.

Taken wife's 84 year old uncle (who lost his wife of 61 years 12 months ago) out for lunch. Now watching Gogglebox on catch up and about to cook a beef stroganoff

Toddler still in last nights pjs is currently wearing my hat and eating her tea watching coco Melon for the 181991st time 🤣 I'm hiding upstairs under the heated blanket while the husband tends to her!

It's 10 am here on the west coast of Canada. Nice Fall day. Just got back from walking the dog and chatting with lovely neighbour. DH is out walking then coffee shop with his friends who discuss various ways they would fix the world.

I have my coffee and dog in my lap of course. Very quiet.

Just finished watching an eye opening documentary about James Bulger,ds and dh are playing x Box and I'm mumsnetting while waiting for the lasagne to finish cooking
