Love these threads and I am a nosy cow!

I'll start. Despite the very rainy day, it has been a Busy morning of ferrying kids to activities, then home to wash school uniforms and make dinner which I have now done.

DH doing some work on his laptop in the bedroom, kids x2 on enforced mini nap due to business of this morning

I will now take a quick shower then relax in front of TV-prob Netflix, whilst I research secondary schools for eldest.

Dog asleep on feet, raspberry gin in hand, DH on other couch, casualty on tv. Lovely

Watching S.W.A.T with DH while we chill on the sofa. 14 month old sick DS asleep in his room but waking up every 30 minutes confused and crying - so I'm back and forth between his room and the living room, and hoping for a better night tonight!

This is a lovely gentle window into people’s lives! Thank you all for sharing. I am currently soothing a teething baby (been a few days now) but hearing about everyone going about their day has made me smile.

We’re watching war of the worlds! DP and I have pulled the sofa bed out and have the duvet on there. The cat is asleep on the back of the sofa behind me. Just put new Halloween bedding on so clean sheets to get into in about half an hour when I inevitably get too tired to carry on with the film…

DP & I went to Homebase to look for a tool box, then Waitrose for food shopping and popped into John Lewis to look for a rug. We went to McDonald’s after for an early lunch then visited The shit White Company for bathroom stuff.

Currently in bed reading The Economist & MN

DH is online with his best friend. I'm in bed reading and contemplating going to sleep before he finishes. DH and I had a blazing and most unexpected row earlier. He normally apologises pretty quickly if he is in the wrong and that he hasn't probably means he has either let it pass or feels very strongly about it.

I'm torn between caring about the fight and prepared to forget it but also happy to discuss in the morning rather than tonight if we need to hence the incentive to sleep.

I live in the Southern US. I spent the entire day reading my Kindle on my screened porch, enjoying the cooler weather.

DH just came up to apologise. Was genuinely annoyed about something that he knows wasn't my fault. Just bad situation and stress came out. I'll forgive him.
