Love these threads and I am a nosy cow!

I'll start. Despite the very rainy day, it has been a Busy morning of ferrying kids to activities, then home to wash school uniforms and make dinner which I have now done.

DH doing some work on his laptop in the bedroom, kids x2 on enforced mini nap due to business of this morning

I will now take a quick shower then relax in front of TV-prob Netflix, whilst I research secondary schools for eldest.

What about you........

Rainy all day here, bedtime for child done, husband at work.

I have the tumble dryer on, just hung up clothes to dry and now thinking of the pile of dishes can wait til tomorrow.

Strictly is on at 6.45 so just want to relax and enjoy the peace. I need to start a new blanket for my son tonight.

I’m in a hotel. A couple of hundred miles away, my cat is asleep on my bed.

DS (9) played an academy football match this morning whilst Dd (13) and I hoovered, unloaded dishwasher and made brandy snaps in the oven. Popped to Morrisons for bread rolls for tomorrow's apple festival walk at the national trust.

Went home abs has lunch. Dh and DS ate in car on way back from football (was an hour's drive).

DS did an hour of 11+ work on the laptop and then was allowed on his switch for the afternoon but 2 mates called round to play out so off he went. DD stayed in her room whilst I put more washing on.

DH currently making tea whilst I iron watching Captain America Winter Soldier on Disney plus with a g and t.

Tomorrow DS has a grassroots football match at 8.30 and then we're off to erddig for the apple festival. We'll be back in time for the Liverpool v Man City kick off.

Bath and bed for kids after and hopefully an early night tomorrow. Heatings been on all day as it's cold here!!!

Exhausted after DS's whole class 8th birthday party last night and a day ferrying him to a football match (in the rain), DD to a netball match (in the rain) and food shopping. Just watching the first half of the Arsenal game (it's terrible, much shouting) with DH and DS and at half time will begin dinner with DD, then watch strictly with the kids and a glass of wine when DH goes to his night shift tonight. It's still pouring and pretty chilly here, was going to go on a petrol hunt, but that's tomorrow's problem

Just finished dinner we had winter vegetable stew with cheesy dumplings

It's pouring with rain out side and blowing a gale

I'm alone in conservatory with my dog sat next to me whining to go out , but if I put him out he wants straight in again because of weather..I'm on my phone reading mumsnet

Two children are in the livingroom watching a movie before bed

No husband - he is working away.

DH built DS'(3) new bed and I took DD(7) to her swimming lesson this morning. We got drenched just running to the car, and my fuel light has now come on...

This afternoon has been fairly screen heavy but the weather is so miserable I don't care. We've just had dinner (pasta bake), DH has loaded the dishwasher and I'm going to do the rest of the dishes (I like to do plastic stuff by hand) whilst listening to a podcast.

DD and DH are currently playing Minecraft and DS is watching TV and playing with his cars. Nearly bedtime and then I'm going to veg out on the sofa.

We’ve had a chilled day at home; watched last week’s bake off while the baby napped this morning, then went for a walk in the rain to feed the ducks at the lake near our house. Home for soup and homemade bread for lunch. The baby then had a second nap while I cleaned the kitchen and read some of my book.

My husband is now playing with the baby while I piss about on MN. Then it will be bath and bed for the baby, and veggie lasagne and strictly for us.

DH is snoring on the sofa - he’s had a heavy cold all week. I’ve been talking to my DM on FaceTime and am now having a cuddle with the cat. Really need a wee but too cosy to move.

Footy this morning, hairdressers this aft followed by a nap on the couch. Take away ordered and probably a film later.

Took DS to railway station - called into TKmaxx and bought jumper leggings and some household bits
Home did 2 loads of washing
DP came over n we went for coffee
Then went to scrapyard to get part for my car - DP had forgotten something so we drive to his house to collect it
Took his van to tyre place - then went food shopping
I’ve just finished some batch cooking and tidied up a bit
Just want to change beds and then can sit down for first time today
DP wants a takeaway but I’m dieting so will probably order his and have a diet friendly microwave meal as don’t feel like cooking any more today
It’s been raining here all day - otherwise I might have done some gardening

Dog is asleep on me and we are watching Hollington Drive

Kids have just had tea and now dh is bathing the youngest. Eldest is making a dungeons and dragons flag! And middle is sat with me watching TV. I have a beer, she has lemonade! Cat is looking at me judgingly because I haven't laid out his favourite blanket for him to lie on!

We just had dinner and robo hoover is now whizzing around downstairs. Upstairs, I am running DD's bath while she 'helps' DH unclog the roller brush on the proper hoover.

Spoon feeding the baby some porridge whilst me and 7yo DS wait for our leftover KFC to reheat in the ninja

Very wet dog walk early this morning. Worked until lunchtime. Pottered around doing some chores, prepped veg for stir fry dinner. Spent afternoon reading and watching the rain. Made the mistake of lighting the fire and am now boiling hot.

Productive morning : Run, bath, faffing about on Youtube, housework
Unproductive afternoon : searching everywhere for my lost phone charger ..

Slow and easy day. Chilled most of the morning. Nipped round to my parents for a bit earlier.

We are ankle deep in duplo, magnatiles and paw patrol but ds is having fun so I'm not making him tidy up. Shop bought pasta and sauce for tea with garlic bread which I over cooked.

Dh is having a nap before work. I've for ferrero rocher and caramel ice cream for later with a couple of episodes of Downton abbey.

(My Dad made us lasagna to heat up for Sunday tea as we're not eating together. So tomorrow is sorted and I'm well happy with that! )

DH took DS to football this morning. Myself and DD stayed in bed playing on the Nintendo switch. I did a quick shop at lunchtime. I'm now back in bed with mega PMS. Kids watching TV. DH has done some laundry this afternoon and is now making dinner for all of us 🥰

Hairdressers this morning. I got colour and a trim. Dh did tidying up at home. In the afternoon I went to the park with DD and the shops. We've all had dinner and I'm sitting down with a G and T

Watching the hit list in my pj’s in front of the fire. Ribs cooking in the oven for dinner and DH is walking the dogs. DD is hiding in her room pretending to do some homework.

DH is out on a long awaited day/night out with his mates, so just me and toddler DS today. Took DS to his football class this morning, then we made apple pie this afternoon as it was too rainy to think about leaving the house. Currently cuddled on the sofa watching Numberblocks while our very inauthentic paella cooks for tea, then it'll be bath and bed time.

This evening, I have a hot date with the sofa, the Good Housekeeping Christmas magazine (decided as it's October I could just about justify it) and a cup of tea and Mr Kipling Bakewell. Would be something stronger, but I'm pregnant...

Although DH has just texted that one of his mates might be crashing on the sofa so might need to do a little more tidying and washing up than anticipated later!

Took 1 SK duvet, 1 K duvet and an SK mattress topper to the outside launderette at Morrisons, felt like an achievement although still have bed to make back up!
Stocked up on bird food for the table as they are out there in numbers, mainly sparrows and starlings but a pair of doves came by and had a peck.
Made jacket potatoes, sausages, beans and cheese for dinner.
Had a tepid shower as boiler playing up and now in a big fleece on couch with cat on lap ready for Strictly.
Wasn't going to drink but fancy a glass of wine now 😏

Waiting for a pizza delivery then we will watch Peter Rabbit 2 (son’s choice). I also have cake from an amazing local cake shop to have with a coffee after.

@DarkDarkNight it's actually pretty good, ds1 and I saw it in the cinema, i enjoyed it

DH at work, DS at friend's for playdate. Friend's mum will drop him home in an hour. I'm curled up on sofa pretending to do some bank work while idling on MN.
