I think her comments today were spot on, although not really professional she makes a valid point.

Medievalist · 26/09/2021 17:59

I agree not professional which doesn't make her look good. But her remarks were 100% true.

TooBigForMyBoots · 26/09/2021 18:02

Valid point made in a way that makes sense. I'm not that bothered if it lacked etiquette.

Porcupineintherough · 26/09/2021 18:03

What did she say?

EnjoyingTheSilence · 26/09/2021 18:04

I don’t understand why more people aren’t saying it

Pixxie7 · 26/09/2021 18:07

That Boris is scum and has refused to apologise until he does about the comments he has made in the past.

OP posts:
WrongKindOfFace · 26/09/2021 18:07

@Porcupineintherough

What did she say?
She said: “We cannot get any worse than a bunch of scum, homophobic, racist, misogynist, absolute pile of banana republic Etonian piece of scum.”
x2boys · 26/09/2021 18:07

Mumsnet can be so out of touch sometimes at times its laughable
Shes ridiculous and she is one of the reasons why Labour cant get into power.

Kleptaklunky · 26/09/2021 18:07

I think she's absolutely vile, an uncouth loudmouth

ThroughThickAndThin01 · 26/09/2021 18:09

She is no good for the Labour Party, a liability.

WindBlowAutumnDays · 26/09/2021 18:09

I like neither Boris not Angela, both greedy, liars, selfish, bad parents and spouces.

I absolutely agree with this. She thinks she's going to end up leading the Labour Party. If that happens they will quickly become a fringe party.
mbosnz · 26/09/2021 18:11

She's not wrong, though, is she?

Skysblue · 26/09/2021 18:12

I think it’s fair enough to call out the government for being crap, they’re the worst one Britain has ever had from any party, and with brexit climate change and covid it’s pretty poor timing too that we’re stuck with them.

I do think she should apologise to Eton for using their school name as an insult. It’s a school. Children go there every day. This kind of reverse snobbery is offensive and unfair. Particularly as I suspect most people at Eton think Boris is an idiot - it’s hard to not notice.

samsalmon · 26/09/2021 18:12

Seriously, people want ideas, policies, solutions, maybe some cooperation between our political parties, there are so many challenges we are all facing. Just hurling insults at the other side just makes you look like a noisy twat with nothing of substance to say. I agree, she’s one of the people that make labour unelectable.

WhoNeedsaManOfTheWorld · 26/09/2021 18:12

Yabu

Blossomtoes · 26/09/2021 18:12

If only she hadn’t said scum. The rest is unarguably true.

WrongKindOfFace · 26/09/2021 18:12

@mbosnz

She's not wrong, though, is she?
No, she isn’t.

I mean, I can’t see her leading Labour into government but she’s not wrong about this.

CorrBlimeyGG · 26/09/2021 18:13

Uncouth because she's a woman that says what she thinks? While male politicians are allowed to get away with lies and gaslighting.

Nice standards you've got there klunky.

WrongKindOfFace · 26/09/2021 18:13

I don’t know, suggesting we let the bodies pile up is pretty scummy.

Labour struggle in many ways to communicate well
SensiMuck · 26/09/2021 18:13

She seems unhinged. Scary woman, power hungry, I know the type, if I'd meet her in a professional or personal context, I'd run, run, run.

As a passionate remainer and supporter of social democratic values, I am gobsmacked to see what utterly weird leaders the Labour attracts, Keir Starmer aside but he just seems to meek.

But that Angela Raynor, I must say, my stomach churns when I imagine her running the country, absolutely scary thought.

ChardonnaysPetDragon · 26/09/2021 18:14

You clearly like her, so try and spell her name right.

She's a liability for Labour.

Pixxie7 · 26/09/2021 18:15

x2boys@ I find her refreshing and I don’t think that you can say that mumsnet is out of touch, in what way?

OP posts:
darklindor · 26/09/2021 18:15
