In the meantime I had the most amazing nights sleep last night. Absolutely full of food and had an amazing day and frankly this morning I couldn't care if he's there for 6 months

Thank goodness your back! Good for you OP. Wait it out, he'll have to ask eventually. Lots of people saying he isn't inconvenienced by this but it will at the least be mildly irritating that he can't access/use his car without asking you first 😉 i bet it is annoying him though, he's not winning here.

No I don't think he's been. Well he certainly didn't ring the bell. DB says a car parked opposite and 4 blokes got out about 10.30 (well after my bedtime in normal circumstances anyway) but they milled round opposite for a bit then drove away. He's not sure if they were taking a piss, trying get on the FC car park or jackass. We get them sometimes. There was loads more activity before the barriers went up. Youths partying, doggers, suicides, abandoned cars and all the usual deserted spot nonsense. Growing up here was bloomin chaos and some of the takes my parents abs grandparents have of the shenanigans are dreadful. Tis much quieter and scenic now. Anyway I digress. He put the front floods on and turned on the front room light so it was obvious someone was in but they drove off so dunno.

I was passed out in an absolute food coma by 8.30pm. The place could have been on fire and I'd have just lay there happily.

We had double death by fudge cake and dear God I swear I've put on a stone just looking at it. I scoffed squished alot! some in as it was birthday cake and would be rude not to but it finished me off and I was snoozing not long after.

DB and DSs have even fed the animals for me so I didn't need waking the little stars. DB is an absolute annoying jerk 99% of the time and our relationship is very based on needling each other sometimes over the line of acceptability but the odd occasion he does something and I realise he's not that bad. He goes home today and I might miss him a tiny bit.
