You guys need to stop filling the thread when nothing is happening!!

In the meantime I had the most amazing nights sleep last night. Absolutely full of food and had an amazing day and frankly this morning I couldn't care if he's there for 6 months Grin

OP posts:

@Mix56

Hang on, he's blocking your access to the stables, what if you needed to bring in a horse trailer. Sorry the police should be contacting him to move his bastard small dick show off car

OP said that she can drive out another way off road - but if he is reading this then assume he can do the same?

Have you spoken to the Forest Rangers yet? Are they assembling an army of heavy equipment ready to do business?

[billybagpuss] There is absolutely no point in said note, or any note. He has all the information he needs already to get his car back. OP should just chill and wait for him to act, as she has been doing. No need for FB either, its just complicating things, apart fron DB's brilliant idea.
And when he does contact, OP can be super chilly.. Don't release the car to anyone but him, don't be nice. He needs to grow a spine and do what he has to do - knock on your door, be apologetic and ask for the gate to be unlocked.

VorpalSword · 02/08/2021 09:16

When you spoke to the police did you tell them he was blocking an emergency access track? It might make them take it a bit more seriously.

To start with I thought he was an idiot who didn’t realise that the property was all one and that’s why he didn’t knock. Clearly now many people have tagged him on Facebook he must know, unless he doesn’t actually use Facebook often and hasn’t been logged in.

Perhaps he does just assume the gates will be open again now it’s Monday?

Didn't OP say there was another gate further up before you get to the stables?

I cannot believe he has left it this long. I have work today. Does this man have no consideration for others? I am totally torn

It's a bank holiday in Ireland today. I'm all set 😂

I can't believe this is still going on! I was really busy yesterday and completely forgot about it.
Can someone please link me to the second thread so I can have a proper catch up? Ta Grin

I'd say I can't believe the wankery of some people, but I sadly can. The one thing I can't get is how you need the car to get the bikes in but not to get them back home. He either lives close enough to not have needed to car or he's training his kids to be future TDF champions.

Just love DB's latest suggestion. He really is most innovative.
These threads have been pure gold frankly. I've never ever seen a parking thread with suggestions on roast dinners and yorkshire pudding recipes ever.

Then the free marketing for Toby Carveries is just quite genius. I actually think you should approach their marketing department to see what link up you could do for the future.

I can't help but wonder though whether CF parker sees your truck parked that is now blocking him in and thinks it is another parker CF and not you so that he is blocked in anyway. Could this be feasible?

@BlueEyesWhiteDragon

I've got friends in common with his DP. The Dsis text me rather than FB so I don't know if that person is his sister if that makes sense?

I can’t believe he hasn’t been back!!

How do you know who his DP is?

Also, did you put a photo of his car up, otherwise how would people know to tag him on FB?

CaveMum · 02/08/2021 09:34

The “sister” did not give clues to the CFers identity, OP said that another local saw her Facebook post and tagged CFer in it saying “Isn’t this yours?”. That enabled OP to FB-stalk him and discover that she shares a few friends with CFers wife.

I stick by my original suggestion of posting hourly updates on you local FB page of “This car is still on my land” with accompanying photo to try and shame CFer (and simultaneously informing all the locals what a twat he is) into doing something.

I also think cress seeds in his window seals and fan intakes would be a nice reminder of this time for him too.

You mean she texted you but didn’t give her name, whereas you’d have seen her name if she had contacted you via FB messenger?

Sounds like a hoaxer indeed.

@BlueEyesWhiteDragon

The Dsis I just blocked. I decided that she was either fake or enabling jackasss and either way I don't want to engage.

Hes not responded to the FB post. DB reckons we should post all sorted thanks and knock off comments. He doesn't want to go home as he wants to see his animal army be victorious against enemy forces. Although he carried them all inside last night so they didn't get wet so he got to replace them all today if that is his plan.

Please just do nothing… everytime you do something it appears you care more than he does. He knows full well the car won’t have been picked up. Just hold the line and to absolutely nothing until he knocks on the door - he will do eventually x

No… don’t do this.

He won’t be shamed and he will live that you’re getting worked up about it.

The further up gate is over the entrance to the FC track I think.

It’s one thing for OP to drive out off-road across her own land, knowing the route. Quite different for a stranger to reverse into her stable yard, spin round and make off across a field.

Surely the police would be interested now that it's been there for three days? Not so much the obstruction but at least enough to make contact and check that the reason he's not collected his car is not because he's dead in a ditch?

Agree. At some point it must be considered abandoned, surely?
