You guys need to stop filling the thread when nothing is happening!!

In the meantime I had the most amazing nights sleep last night. Absolutely full of food and had an amazing day and frankly this morning I couldn't care if he's there for 6 months Grin

OP isn’t alone in the house anyway, she has other family living there, plus workers for the animals. So if he was reading this thread he’d know she isn’t alone.

I've got friends in common with his DP. The Dsis text me rather than FB so I don't know if that person is his sister if that makes sense?
Doesn’t matter if “sister” texted or FB messaged you - she obviously gave you the correct name and you were then able to find and identify him as the man you physically met and saw his and his wife’s FB pages.

So why block her if she is the one contacting you? When did you block her? She may have sent numerous messages that she doesn’t know you haven’t got?

I agree with others. The fact he left a note on the car and lied to you that he’d be 5 minutes shows he’s an entitled cheeky fucker but perhaps not too confrontational, otherwise he’d be banging on doors to try and get his car.

I think then that he’ll be popping by every so often to check the gates hoping he can just drive away without having to confront you.

I also agree that maybe you shouldn’t post your intentions here in case the CF is reading as you don’t want to be on the back foot. Definitely post what you’ve done though as I love a good CF comeuppance thread. Grin

I actually can’t believe there’s not a law about trespassing/being able to get police etc to remove cars from your property. (Actually I can, laws are weird) Perhaps paint double yellows around it and as if by magic a parking warden will pop up and ticket him 🤣

@Sssloou I think OP got the name from his friend tagging him on the FB post, not from the "dsis" messaging. Plus she doesn't seem to have contributed anything positive as what she said in her messages didn't actually come to pass.

I know notes are probably passé now but he does seem to be a man of little brain so maybe the time has come to put a note on the gate explaining what he has to do to get the car back. I suggest:

Dear Twat
These gates have to remain locked for security, knock at the house armed with an apology and someone will open them for you.

The Span Gran and her paella pan cheeky fucker neighbours building into op's garden went on for 10 threads. I believe it was where the phrase Cheeky Fuckers' was coined in relation to entitled neighbours/parking jackasses!

It may have all been made up but it was pretty epic!

Unbelievable! I too think the car last night was them trying to liberate it but the lights and/or the lock put them off.

I hope it gets sorted soon.... I'm quietly hoping the FC has to drag it out Grin

I live next to a forest track, my driveway is the only place you could be going unless you are headed up the track (unlikely) but one of my neighbours regularly picnics IN my garden and others often block the road parking on it.
People are the worst!

I wonder if it’s actually his car? Perhaps he was visiting for the weekend and it’s actually a hire car. He’s now gone home to darkest peru and the car is no longer his problem?

Imagine being so male that rather than simply saying “can I have my car back please?” (or not parking there at all!!) you avoid the situation / are arrogant enough to just leave it / send your mates round. It’s just bizarre.

I think he knows his rights (that you cant do any damage) as is making you 'pay' for standing up to him. Little bastard!

Also OP, if you haven’t already you can do a DVLA plate check online to check it has its tax up to date 😁
