To be really disturbed - Twitter reactions to crying German girl

Sorry if this has been done. I've only just seen this shared online and I'm so disturbed. 'Cry more slut' - she's a child I don't understand the hatred and violence towards girls and women, I really can't wrap my head around why those people thought those comments were funny or ok to post.

Some people are nasty. It has always been this way.

I saw this last night and was utterly appalled by it. It's just a game of football FFS. I would be so ashamed if I was an Engald fan. It's prime example of the issues caused by social media and the behaviour it can breed. Who the hell thinks it's acceptable to speak about a child like that?! Poor girl.

Twitter has some intelligent and funny people, but it also has some remarkably repugnant and vile ones too.

This is just horrible. I saw this during the game on the TV and said they shouldn't be showing a child crying, it's just not fair on her.

One of my Twitter contacts posted "bottle those Nazi tears" in reaction to this and I've never been so quick to block someone. How do people live with themselves.

Twitter would have quickly removed the tweets no doubt if there had been some breach of copyright. Pity they cannot do the same for this kind of nastiness or worse.
