Surely you would have cameras in a Government building and surely pointing it at doorways between different areas or departments isn't a bad idea.
It looks like a screenshot of a cctv security camera monitor.

Class A Cunt.
With added cuntness on top.
Running home to bin off his wife and kids hours before the scum went to press.

bonfireheart · 27/06/2021 09:45

@backhills exactly, they're always doing well in the polls. MH didn't quit cos of all the other awful things he did. He wouldn't have quit if he hadn't been found out.

I wonder now though if he will keep his head down or be selling his story and sordid secrets like Dominic Cumminga. Next series of I'm A Celeb??

LittleBearPad · 27/06/2021 09:45

@lljkk

After storming of US capital on 6 Jan, I think we can all understand why there are lots of cameras in govt office buildings.

I thought SV's article was bland. Of course it will make her look naively smug if MG ever leaves her.

Bland Grin

It was a threat addressed solely to one person.

TheoMeo · 27/06/2021 09:45

I suspect the affair has gone on for quite a while - as are others in Gov, it seems to come with the overconfidence and arrogance of power, but someone had a serious grievance to out that video.
Hope the Sun sheds some more light on it Grin - was it to hide bad news?
I would think we have enough investigative journos for someone to unearth the facts.

How would Hannock have benefited from extending lockdown any more than by ending it?

Surely an affair is easier in a world where hotel stays and after work functions are the norm and there would be just as many "business" opportunities coming out of renewed freedoms and a recovery plan as out of lockdown.

LouLou198 · 27/06/2021 09:49

@Scaredycatmoo76 due to inflammation in the body and immobility when someone has Covid, they are at significant higher risk of developing a blood clot. There is lots of info online. There has been concerns around having the Oxford vaccine because of risk of blood clots, but I think the statistics show you are 10 x more likely to get a clot from having Covid than from the getting the vaccine.

Ijustknowitstimetogo · 27/06/2021 09:51

However, people haven't considered the security implications of hidden cameras in a government office. They're too busy reading the sensationalist headlines.

No evidence of hidden cameras. You’re deflecting from Matt Hancock’s disgusting behaviour.

*His treatment of his wife.
*Flouting COVID rules.
*Inappropriate behaviour - in the workplace.
*Employing friend/ mistress.
*Giving contracts to friends

Octopuscake · 27/06/2021 09:52

Very few of us have been as pure as the cold driven snow through lockdown

I disagree actually- I think there have been many many acts of quiet heroism and most people have stepped up.

People reassuring their old parents by phone, people forfeiting seeing beloved grandchildren when they don't know how many years they have left to spend with them, people working 20 hour days for months so they can care for children and keep their jobs...people keeping their mental health afloat, alone in small flats for weeks on end without so much as a friendly hug. People getting up and going into work delivering food. Imagine the bravery of showing up for your bus driving shift as an obese man, age 50, from an ethnicity known to be more likely to die, with a young family at home to support, knowing 20% of your colleagues have already been hospitalised. And that's without even touching on nurses, doctors, paramedics, health staff.

Hancock's flagrant disregard for everyone else's sacrifice is the scumbag's failure. Cunt.

Notonthestairs · 27/06/2021 09:53

The Times says questions were asked about their relationship from 2019 - so potentially he employed GC to facilitate their affair. We were paying for them to be together. And simultaneously was telling people not to meet up with partners they didn't live with. Hypocrite.

The use of the gmail accounts is what I want them to get to the bottom of - we can't tell whether contracts were negotiated fairly or whether procedures were followed (and I'd hazard a guess they weren't). Stinks.

TheChineseChicken · 27/06/2021 09:55

@Regulus

I'm convinced the footage was set up, there is something too hammy about it all. when this first broke I thought someone had set up MH, but now I wondered if he hasn't orchestrated it all. Everyone knew his boss thought he was 'fucking useless' even he must have realised that he was incompetent. This video solves two problems, lets him resign for being a shagger rather than for his role in the death of thousands and cunts for contracts, and deals with leaving his wife and forcing the relationship into the open. Only thing is I'm not sure I give him credit for being able to organise it
I was thinking exactly this
PicsInRed · 27/06/2021 09:55

How would Hannock have benefited from extending lockdown any more than by ending it?

Personally - an excuse for very long hours in the company of his mistress, with a cast iron excuse to avoid family time and responsibilities. He brought her into Whitehall December 2020, right as we locked down some more. He seems to have become more attractive to her - after 25 years of rejection - as he has become "powerful". 🤮 Of course this would end with the end of the pandemic - and the beginning of an enquiry into his fuck ups.

Financially - he was awarding lucrative, multi million pound covid contracts to friends left right and centre, including FFS to his mistresses brother.

When covid stopped, Hancock's party stopped.

KikiniBamalam · 27/06/2021 09:58

@PhilCornwall1

He and his OW now have no job and no homes...hope a freeze has been put on his bank account before he starts splashing the cash on a love nest

Unfortunately he still does have a pretty well paid job and another property in Suffolk.

Agreed. Surely nobody thinks either will be destitute!?!
lljkk · 27/06/2021 10:00

threat addressed solely to one person

what is the threat? "If you leave me for OW I will spill all your intimate secrets in my column"? As if Gove wasn't already widely parodied and loathed, and he wouldn't be trashing his own rep further by leaving for OW?

Threats are not a good basis for solid future measure; a "threat" like that is likely to make someone leave sooner.

MrsMaizel · 27/06/2021 10:00

@LittleBearPad that is not fun about Gove but what else would you expect from such a stupid woman who also supports anti semitism covertly.

Bagamoyo1 · 27/06/2021 10:00

@Lemonwoe

I personally don’t think he should have to resign for having an affair. Being shit at his job... yeah... having an affair ... nah..

Still, he’s left his wife for her. Wonder if that’s what she actually wanted? Imagine being stuck with him

He didn’t resign because he had an affair. He resigned because he broke the social distancing rules, which he has been telling us all to follow for over a year.
Roussette · 27/06/2021 10:00

I suspect the affair has gone on for quite a while - as are others in Gov, it seems to come with the overconfidence and arrogance of power, but someone had a serious grievance to out that video.

I read somewhere yesterday (don't ask me to find it lol) that it was an open secret about MH and his aide and the staff were heartily sick of it all. No idea how true that is.

Backhills · 27/06/2021 10:01

I couldn't see a threat there but blimey what a way to run a marriage if it is!

BiscoffAddict · 27/06/2021 10:01

I’ve thought all along that he quite fancies a media career. I wouldn’t be at all surprised to see him in IAC or Strictly one day in the not to distant future.

Keyring · 27/06/2021 10:02

I feel sorry for her husband too. he's a rich man of course but for the same reasons that people have been arguing on here that Matt Hancock should be fleected in his divorce, well the cuckolded husband should fleece his wife too. It takes 2 to tango.

Northernlurker · 27/06/2021 10:02

Re Covid and clots - it s one of the major risks of Covid infection. I'm a nhs manager and in the first phase all of the hospital was emptying out except the stroke ward, then as in hospital testing comes in we find lots of those patients are also Covid positive. And it becomes clear, they haven't caught Covid in hospital, they had Covid and the only symptom was the stroke. Same with PEs. I think the theory is it makes the blood stickier, no idea why. But I have some aspirin in the medical cabinet and will be taking it if I'm ill.

Roussette · 27/06/2021 10:02

Keepitonthedownlow · 27/06/2021 10:04

The whole thing seems so infantile

Sostenueto · 27/06/2021 10:04

Officials have known since December that Hancock has been using a private Gmail account to conduct governmental business. That breaks the ministerial code.
So this means there is no record of him negotiating PPE contracts worth millions, the useless T&T etc.

Yep and lots more leaking this morning one has to wonder at the timing of the release of the photo/video after all they had it since May. Why not put it out in May? Oh I know wasn't that when Cummings and Hancock were facing the parliamentary committee scrutiny? Looks likeCummings wasn't lying about Hancock and also shows that by using a private email address proof that Hancock was indeed doing shady deals on PPE and other deals would have been leaked at same time when photo released hence proving Cummings right. So yet again deceit by this Government the most corrupt in our political history.
As for Boris he is no leader he should have sacked Hancock immediately as he should have sacked Cummings but unfortunately for Boris they both have too much on him. And as Javid is 'in' with Carrie Cummings was right to tweet yesterday ' just more of the same'.

Backhills · 27/06/2021 10:05

That's interesting @Northernlurker DH was admitted to hospital with chest pain when he had Covid. He had a PE, which was blamed on his pre existing cancer. There was never any suggestion it was due to the Covid, which he considered he "got away with"

RealhousewifeofStoke · 27/06/2021 10:05

‘Genuine question
How did it cause a blood clot?’

There is a wealth of clinical research and evidence that identifies the links between covid and blood clots. Anti coagulant therapies are used as standard treatments now for hospitalised covid patients.

Diane Abbot can be added to the list of disgusting human beings.
