I never have

Turtles4543 · 25/06/2021 12:37

Yes in primary school playground (SE)

Aroundtheworldin80moves · 25/06/2021 12:39

Still compulsory at our primary school

islaviolent · 25/06/2021 12:39

Yes compulsory at our school in the north east

kindaclassy · 25/06/2021 12:39

Not compulsory in ours, but strongly recommended, and most parents are not twats and wear them.

When entire year groups are still sent in isolation because of positive tests, at least it shows the kids parents take things seriously.

Peace43 · 25/06/2021 12:39

We are at a Primary

LoopTheLoops · 25/06/2021 12:40

We are still not allowed into our school playground so maybe that’s why we haven’t had to

TheYearOfSmallThings · 25/06/2021 12:40

We are required to (East London). And we've been sent a reminder today because there is an outbreak in Y3.

LakeShoreD · 25/06/2021 12:40

We have to wear them in the playground. They are generally put on at the last possible moment and the hanging outside the gates is done maskless without any social distancing.

moreofthisagain · 25/06/2021 12:41

Yes, though I think it is a bit pointless.

Washlinewaster · 25/06/2021 12:41

Yup we are primary in Wales.

I don't necessarily agree with it, but it doesn't really set a good example to my kids does it? If I want them to follow school rules, then I should to.

Comedycook · 25/06/2021 12:42

Yes we are. Some parents were getting a bit lax so we had a reminder email

HoneysuckIejasmine · 25/06/2021 12:42

Yes we are.

UrAWizHarry · 25/06/2021 12:42

I don't bother anymore, just send kid into playground and make sure they make it to the door.

It's a complete waste of time. Outdoors transmission even before vaccines was and is almost if not completely negligible.

SaltAndVinegarSandwiches · 25/06/2021 12:43

We generally do at DC's school. No one actually gets out of their cars though so it's just those of us who walk who are actually in the playground and we're not generally even near to each other. If someone forgets they still come in anyway but people do generally wear them.

BettyOBarley · 25/06/2021 12:43

Yes it's still required at our infant school.

BlackLambAndGreyFalcon · 25/06/2021 12:46

Yes compulsory at dd's primary in SE London.

sempiternal · 25/06/2021 12:50

Yes still required at DD's school. I've seen the head giving out disposable masks to parents who aren't wearing one.

MarshaBradyo · 25/06/2021 12:51

Yes nearly everyone does still

Brogues · 25/06/2021 12:52

Yes for primary but nobody gets pulled up if they aren’t wearing one.

NautaOcts · 25/06/2021 12:52

Yes still are

gwenneh · 25/06/2021 12:53

Yes, it's compulsory at ours.

cadburyegg · 25/06/2021 13:02

Yes still required here

daisy2609 · 25/06/2021 13:02

We are supposed to, I still do but I do feel a bit daft now. Yesterday at pick up out of the 31 (yes I counted) parents only 2 were wearing masks. We have staggered times for each class although they do often have different parents there overlapping and we've not been allowed inside the school grounds since March last year but we were still asked to wear masks for dropping off/pickup and tbh it's not the hill I want to die on, I don't understand it but im not going to start nagging the school, they've got enough to deal with.

knittingaddict · 25/06/2021 13:03

Yes. We are in an area with rising cases and my grandchildren's primary school requests that masks are used. The youngest (year 1) has spent the last week at home due to a case in his class.
