Is anyone still wearing masks at school gate?

Just asking as ours as eased off a bit now? Is it compulsory?

Masks in the playground at pick up and drop off still compulsory at my DC's primary. There are signs everywhere and email/text reminders regularly. Meanwhile, in the large secondary school where I work no-one is wearing masks, inside or outside.

Still do at ours - we haven't been dropping or picking up in the playground since March 2020 so are on the pavement outside school. Staggered drop offs and pick ups mean lots of parents have to hang around for 10 mins or more and it's hard to be more than 2m away from everyone so it seems to makes sense. I don't want to make things any harder for the school and the teachers all wear them so it's not a big ask.

@Confiscatedfidgetspinner no not at all to avoid bitchy comments, actually for the same reason I wear one in a shop, on a bus, in the shared areas at work etc - because it's impossible to be 2m away from everyone and I'm not just passing someone outdoors. Sorry to disappoint.

Everyone seems to have stopped here!

Including me but my reason is I had covid then long covid which triggered an asthma flare up, and I get breathless and dizzy in a mask now. I’ve got an exemption card but nobody has asked to see it, even travelling on trains and the tube only about half of people were masked.
