Coolmum30 · 10/06/2021 20:49

Is it just me that thinks it's absolutely vile to leave clean washing on the line over night? 🥺

Just bring it in!?

Branleuse · 10/06/2021 20:50

Vile and disgusting. Not only does it get darked on, what if a bat weed on it

RagzReturnsRebooted · 10/06/2021 20:50

Is this about the spider Willies?

I frequently leave mine out. I don't care if it gets darked on.

FetchezLaVache · 10/06/2021 20:50

Absolutely, OP! Not only does it get darked on, but spiders rub their willies on it too. VILE.

MadMadMadamMim · 10/06/2021 20:50

Everyone on here thinks it's disgusting.

Not only does it get DARKED on - but spiders rub their willies over it.

OMGisthisforreal · 10/06/2021 20:50

You must be new here - stand by…..

chipsandgin · 10/06/2021 20:51

Spiders willies & it’ll get darked on (just getting in there first..).TBH I do it all the time & its fine - f anything it smells nicer after a day (or two..)!

LindaEllen · 10/06/2021 20:51

Is this really worth a thread?

People can forget it's out or they can lose track of time and be absolutely knackered by the time they remember ..

How did you become so judgy?

FairyAnn · 10/06/2021 20:51

It's a well known fact that spiders rub their willies on washing if it's left out overnight. Gross!

RagzReturnsRebooted · 10/06/2021 20:51

Oh, I didn't know about the bat wee. Shock I may have to change my vile ways.
MadMadMadamMim · 10/06/2021 20:51

Cross posted with everyone else who's frequently read this thread!

Watto1 · 10/06/2021 20:52

Not at all. I’ve just put mine out! I leave for work at the crack of dawn so I won’t have chance to put it out in the morning. Night air isn’t dirtier than day air (in fact it’s probably cleaner due to less traffic) so I don’t see what harm it does.

cardibach · 10/06/2021 20:53

Can you articulate why you think it’s absolutely vile?

SmellThis · 10/06/2021 20:53

God, absolutely not
It just gets damp again

YouWereGr8InLittleMenstruators · 10/06/2021 20:53

...is absolutely fine.

cardibach · 10/06/2021 20:53

@SmellThis

God, absolutely not It just gets damp again
And dries again. All in th fresh air so no fustiness.
RagzReturnsRebooted · 10/06/2021 20:54

Problem is, OP, if I bring it in before bed then I have to put it away. Or trip over the basket on the bedroom floor. My washing line is a handy clothes storage area!

Ellpellwood · 10/06/2021 20:54

Spiders and darked on and bats, oh my!
Spiders and darked on and bats, oh my!

Coolmum30 · 10/06/2021 20:55

Cause it’ll get damp and you’ll just look like a tramp to your neighbours.

And spider willies obviously 🙄

OP posts:
chipsandgin · 10/06/2021 20:55

Damn - not fast enough 😂

Nicecupofteaandacake · 10/06/2021 20:55

If I know it’s going to be dry overnight and the next day, I put mine out on purpose when the kids are in bed. Much easier than trying to do it with a clingy baby in the sling and a toddler running around.

As long as it’s washed and dry, I’m winning! Since putting the washing out whenever I can (inc overnight and SHOCK HORROR sometimes even if it’s going to drizzle!) I’ve been on top of the washing for the first time in forever! Here’s a pic of my empty washing basket 💁‍♀️

If it bothers you that much though, please do feel free to come and do mine at a time you feel is suitable Halo

My neighbour leaves her washing on the line for days at a time for no reason I can discern Smile

Sciurus83 · 10/06/2021 20:56

You're new aren't you?! Grin

SPIDER WILLIES!! DARKED ON!!

Doubt my neighbours are paying much attention and if they were they're too nice to think someone is a tramp over laundry. Maybe an oh, they forgot about the laundry, happens. No further. Why are you judging your neighbours so much?!

Coolmum30 · 10/06/2021 20:59

Cause I’m coolmum30 that’s why 🤪
