Washing on line OVER NIGHT

Is it just me that thinks it's absolutely vile to leave clean washing on the line over night? 🥺

Just bring it in!?

Uric acid, not iris acid.

Coolmum30 · 10/06/2021 21:17

@LST

I've literally just finished pegging my second load out. I'll get it in once its dry tomorrow dinner.
If you haven’t already read I have three under three I work 42 hours a week and I can have three loads done by midday get your shit together.

I regularly peg my washing out to dry overnight and then for a few days after I could not give a monkeys about dark, spider willies or bat pee. And I really don't care if the neighbours think I am a tramp or not. I would suggest that they count themselves lucky that all they have to get het up about is my washing staying out on the line. Nooooooo

It’ll get … gasp ….. darked on 😂

Yeah but how long can you make a chicken last?

LST · 10/06/2021 21:19

@Coolmum30 my apologies. I'm just a lazy arse who prefers 15 mins longer in bed in the morning!

WeatherwaxOn · 10/06/2021 21:19

Couldn't care less either way.
Bring it in, don't bring it in. I can think of about a billion more interesting things to worry about than whether or not my washing is on the line overnight or not.

AngusThermopyle · 10/06/2021 21:19

Mumsnet law... no leaving washing out to get darked on. Fact.

@Tyrannosaurusdrip

Ah piss off. You ABVU.

I put it out when I can, I bring it in when I can. I don't care if my neighbours think I'm a "tramp" or that it's vile. I've got other things to get annoyed at in life.

Like what?

My tiktok is @Coolmum30, I go live at 6am with my morning routine- if anyone would like some life hacks.

I really wouldn't take this all too seriously...

@Coolmum30 you're cracking me up 😂 bored this evening? Lol x

AngelicaElizaAndPeggy · 10/06/2021 21:23

Heaven forbid that the wet washing gets damp overnight while hanging up outside in the night.

MasterBeth · 10/06/2021 21:23

@Coolmum30

Cause it’ll get damp and you’ll just look like a tramp to your neighbours.

And spider willies obviously 🙄

They think you are a Stepford Wife.

Well, SOMEONE has their judgy pants on!

I start work ridiculously early, so it's far easier to put it out the night before. Sometimes - the horror! - it stays out for another night if I forget!

Coolmum30 · 10/06/2021 21:25

Thank you xx

You seem a little wound up OP. Has it been a tough day at school? Have the other kids not been very nice to you? You can always tell a teacher.

MrsGulDukat · 10/06/2021 21:26

(Looks at washing still on the line)

It'll be fine....

Youarenothere · 10/06/2021 21:27

I’m sat out looking at my washing on the line now, no chance I’ll get up and bring it in. My clothes are colourful and reckon it brightens up the (shared) garden.

Echobelly · 10/06/2021 21:27

I do it fairly often as sometimes that's how the timings pan out - don't have time to wash it in the morning, say, but I can take it off the line at lunchtime if it went on the evening before. Whatevs.

CyberGhost · 10/06/2021 21:28

IT WILL GET DARKED ON!
