Washing on line OVER NIGHT

Coolmum30 · 10/06/2021 20:49

Is it just me that thinks it's absolutely vile to leave clean washing on the line over night? 🥺

Just bring it in!?

Yes. It's absolutely just you

No one has ever raised this on Mumsnet ever. Never ever

Hmm
JeanClaudeVanDammit · 10/06/2021 21:00

I don’t think it’s vile, but a bit pointless as it just gets wet again. My neighbour does this all the time, even when the weather isn’t that good.

kowari · 10/06/2021 21:01

What's the difference between day and night? I often do a load and put it out in the evening.

Oh, I’m obviously too busy putting washing out and bringing it in before it’s dark- I must have missed the threads.

Oh well, the neighbours will know I am a tramp then as will passing drivers.

DancesWithTortoises · 10/06/2021 21:02

Spider jizz

PortMerrionCentre · 10/06/2021 21:02

I hang mine out in the evening and bring it in the following evening. Works for me

Littlebendytoe · 10/06/2021 21:04

I think mine has been out for three nights now.

I do love a little rebellion.

Postdatedpandemic · 10/06/2021 21:04

You're being quite unreasonable @Coolmum30 , dew is the best fabric conditioner going.

What sort of people accuse their neighbours of being tramps over laundry? Unfulfilled ex-school bullies maybe?

Ahh you should absolutely start a thread on your far superior parenting skills! How I wish I was as incredible as you Grin

polkadotpixie · 10/06/2021 21:04

I must be a right tramp...I once left mine out for a week and had to throw everything away because the sun bleached it 😩

mrsbyers · 10/06/2021 21:04

I couldn’t give a shit of my neighbours judge me for leaving a line of washing out overnight

JaninaDuszejko · 10/06/2021 21:05

THREAD ALERT!!!!!

Spiders don't have willies.

Fromage · 10/06/2021 21:05

THE HORROR.

Ghosts will wipe their bums on it and it'll get moon mould.

Oh I feel triggered...at least I’m not the one walking around with spider jizz on me all day.

My neighbour leaves things for days on end!

But yes I agree. Never leave it out overnight here.

ZingDramaQueenOfSheeba · 10/06/2021 21:06

YABVU

But I haven't seen a washing line thread in ages so YANBU for starting one.

Tbf my neighbours have way more to judge me about than my washing being out overnight, starting with the pile of crap down the back of the garden that I’m at loggerheads with DH about 😂
bloodywhitecat · 10/06/2021 21:07

There is no washing hanging in my front garden.

Coolmum30 · 10/06/2021 21:07

I was just sick in my mouth.

I'd rethink the username - there is absolutely nothing cool about this thread or your attitude 😂
I'm genuinely embarrassed for you, reading your replies.

Me too.

But I am not sure about my front step hygiene routine. What time does it need to be scrubbed by?

But I’m not just a regular mom, I’m a cool mom.
