Washing on line OVER NIGHT

Coolmum30 · 10/06/2021 20:49

Is it just me that thinks it's absolutely vile to leave clean washing on the line over night? 🥺

Just bring it in!?

OP is clearly a troll. Best not to feed them.

plinkplinkfizzer · 10/06/2021 22:03

Does anyone not wipe the line before using it in the spring . I did this once and my washing was filthy .

YellowandGreenToBeSeen · 10/06/2021 22:03

You know what I think is vile @Coolmum30?People judging and feeling ‘superior’ to other people based on something as banal as laundry*

Anyone who thinks this is important needs to get over themselves. Have you any real idea how you’re coming across?**

*humour about spider willies aside.

** not great.

TheLovelinessOfDemons · 10/06/2021 22:04

@Watto1

Not at all. I’ve just put mine out! I leave for work at the crack of dawn so I won’t have chance to put it out in the morning. Night air isn’t dirtier than day air (in fact it’s probably cleaner due to less traffic) so I don’t see what harm it does.
Less traffic? Unfortunately not in London.

@Ellpellwood

Spiders and darked on and bats, oh my! Spiders and darked on and bats, oh my!
Grin
Abracadabra12345 · 10/06/2021 22:09

@Coolmum30

Cause it’ll get damp and you’ll just look like a tramp to your neighbours.

And spider willies obviously 🙄

Fortunately my other neighbours are tramps too. So is my son who is putting out his washing even as I type. It is night. There’s a toilet queue of bats forming and is that a spider I hear?
greensnail · 10/06/2021 22:16

Just about to hang mine out now.

SwanShaped · 10/06/2021 22:18

Good laugh, OP.

Wizzbangfizz · 10/06/2021 22:20

Couldn't give a shit if I leave it out or my neighbours do. HTH

Wizzbangfizz · 10/06/2021 22:21

Oh and I've got a 3 toilet brushes in my home - I expect to be struck down any moment!

TheLovelinessOfDemons · 10/06/2021 22:22

@Twinmammaplusone

Mine is out right now. What’s worse is I put it out yesterday....
Me too.

Is it really a troll if we enjoy it?

Haha, yeah, me too. But I'm not scared. I know it's all just a load of - aaaargh!
Scbchl · 10/06/2021 22:26

I honestly couldn't give a flying fuck what anyone else does with their washing to be completely honest with you Coolmum30.

AlfonsoTheMango · 10/06/2021 22:28

@Sciurus83

*So how do they jizz on the washing then, eh? eh?

HA.*

Oh they still have sperms, totally capable of jazzing on the washing still have no fear!

Thank goodness. Order is restored to my universe.
Youarestillintherunning · 10/06/2021 22:30

My neighbour has had her washing out for two nights now!! It's been 28 degrees both days, I'm sure it's dry just fjdking bring it in!!!!

Boomisshiss · 10/06/2021 22:31

If it’s not your washing why do you care ?

VariantL1130 · 10/06/2021 22:35

I hung my washing out overnight once. Not only did it get darked on, and spiders jizzed on it, but it directly led me to a serious of unfortunate events and as a result, I now have a hot tub and wind chimes in my garden, whilst inside I've amassed a vast collection of toilet brushes. Meanwhile, DH has been consumed by a secret hobby so I'm just getting my ducks in a row before I LTB.

OrchestraOfWankery · 10/06/2021 22:42

VariantL1130

No need to LTB yet. Slap some of your favourite Zoflora behind your ears, light a Jo Malone candle and have a chat over a nice meal of chicken. Not too much chicken, mind. That bird has to last another 20-30 meals.

Check your gusset for moths before you start your hysterical bonding too.

whydoesitalwayshappentome · 10/06/2021 22:45

My neighbour left their washing out being darked on and spider jizzed all over, from December 2019 - March 2020 so I suspect it was more jizz than washing at that point.

Moomala · 10/06/2021 22:47

Want some attention tonight do you? Hmm

OrchestraOfWankery · 10/06/2021 22:55

Nature's starch.
BrownEyedGirl80 · 10/06/2021 22:58

I do it regularly I find that spider jizz works as additional softener.

TailFeatherz · 10/06/2021 23:01

Try minding your own business

WithANameLikeDaniCalifornia · 10/06/2021 23:12

How embarrassing that you hang your own washing out, op. My maid does that for me. Stop being poor, op.
