Literally having one of those days. Talk talk is down in my area so I'm ploughing through mobile data. But literally EVERYTHING I'm trying to order is out of stock and it's driving me mad! I'm trying to find garden furniture, a bin store, a new rug, clothes for my daughter - it goes on and on!!

Just ranting!!!!!

It’s what people voted for, sadly.

gingerbiscuit19 · 09/04/2021 17:20

Are you on Next? Because everything I look at on Next is out of stock!! Same with Argos.

Temp023 · 09/04/2021 17:21

BUT WE HAVE REGAINED CONTROL!

pepsicolagirl · 09/04/2021 17:21

which rug? I have been looking for one for MONTHS but just have no idea and I don't want to order what turns out to be a thick blanket

rosie39forever · 09/04/2021 17:21

You don't need stuff when you've got all that sovereignty.

Dollygirl2008 · 09/04/2021 17:22

Yep! Next for clothes, Argos - don't get me started - it politely asks you if you want to check stores in other areas, so I get excited only for the screen to say "oh sorry - there are none - ANYWHERE

Wayfair, Homebase, B&Q, New Look, M&S - I've done the rounds today Angry

I have been trying to buy garden furniture but everything reasonable priced is out of stock.
I don’t think it is anything to do with brexit and more to do with people being allowed to met up outdoors and it being unlikely we will get holidays abroad this year so people are splurging on making the garden nice.

pepsicolagirl · 09/04/2021 17:24

its probably the contents of that ship that got stuck... delays abound

Horehound · 09/04/2021 17:26

Yes we are waiting three months for a dishwasher.

Yay Brexit Hmm

Luckyelephant1 · 09/04/2021 17:27

I just want an outdoor egg chair but there are NONE

Happycat1212 · 09/04/2021 17:28

I thought it was because more people are at home bored so ordering more than they would? Reminds me of last summer literally every garden toy for kids was oos, couldn’t get a trampoline for months and months same with slides, swings etc

pepsicolagirl · 09/04/2021 17:28

seriously though, which rug?!

Proudboomer · 09/04/2021 17:30

Aldi do an egg chair. It has not yet gone on sale but worth keeping an eye on.
Scbchl · 09/04/2021 17:31

Iv noticed quite alot of things out of stock in the supermarket the last few weeks when I have went and also on certain websites trying to order things for the kids. Argos is horrific, NEVER has any stock near me or for delivery. I can see them completely closing soon if they don't have the stock to sell how can they make money.

Dollygirl2008 · 09/04/2021 17:31

@pepsicolagirl

seriously though, which rug?!
Haha it's an outdoor one - I don't really like the geometric ones so if found something a bit different - ordered it, paid for it, and then received van email earlier saying they couldn't fulfil it. Bastards.

I thought I'd got in early enough! I also need a bin store for my wheelie bins - who are these people snapping up the supply because I don't see any near where I live!

Mandy to add insult to injury, my credit card has just been declined

AND FOR THE LOVE OF GOD TALKTALK - JUST FIX THE PROBLEM AngryAngryAngry

Yup. All of argos. I'm beginning to get suspicious they don't run as a business anymore and must he a front for something else...

doctorhamster · 09/04/2021 17:34

Never mind though you'll get a nice blue passport
to make up for it

FuckyouCovid21 · 09/04/2021 17:34

The Aldi egg chair sold out within about 15 mins of going on sale earlier in the week

KoalaOok · 09/04/2021 17:35

My local Tesco is out of Marmite

whenwillthemadnessend · 09/04/2021 17:35

Argos was like this well before brexit so it's not all that. Crap ordering and covid I assume

Iminaglasscaseofemotion · 09/04/2021 17:35

It was the same with anything for the garden this time last year.

Pupster21 · 09/04/2021 17:36

Bloody brexit

osbertthesyrianhamster · 09/04/2021 17:36

I went to buy some of those rubber/plastic Birkenstocks. Only to find they've over doubled in price since Brexit. Luckily I can get them abroad when I go but yeah, blue passports.
