She's like Teflon. I'm not in Scotland but been following with interest. What are the predictions for the elections, will the SNP do as well this time?

I think your issue is less with Nicola Sturgeon and more with her having absolutely no opposition in Scotland. Scottish Labour has let down Scotland massively.

She was just investigated. Unlike Matt Hancock for his PPE contract or Boris Johnson for his affair with the American businesswoman he gave public money to. Or Dido Harding’s contract.

There is such a blind loyalty to her (and the SNP as a whole) up here that it’s sickening.

Her decisions cannot be questioned with her supporters. You get so much anger if you dare question what Queen Nicola has said.

While I don’t agree with her independence stance in any way I do agree that she has been articulate with her covid messaging but I do think every decision is based on doing something different to Boris regardless of what is right for the country

The dangers of a one party state. Any democracy needs strong opposition.

I'm in NZ. No way would Jacinda Ardern survive this. She'd have walked first anyway.

I think you have to have a strong connection to Scotland to form an informed opinion on Scottish politics. That discounts a lot of English voters from the left or right.

Well, you can’t vote for her unless you live here so that’s a pretty strong connection, I’d say.

She appointed James Hamilton to investigate her . His report simply cannot be credible as he was therefore answering to her!

Because she's articulate and persuasive and the English media don't question her very stringently. Even Piers Morgan was sucking up to her.

Most English ppl (I'm Irish) I know don't really care about Scottish politics that deeply, but obvs that's only ppl I talk to

Jaw-droppingly corrupt, but because she's quippy and articulate so many people don't mind! Glad she's up in Scotland, but feel for the Scottish people stuck with her and her party

It is, of course, better to live in a society where the media holds all people in power equally to account.

But for the opposition parties this is literally their job.

I think she's no worse than Priti Patel who's been sacked for lying to the previous PM, and was
found to have breached the ministerial code. Oh, and was also found guilty of bullying. Now THAT'S Teflon.
